Do you still have a servicing agent? If yes you can ask your agent on when you can get the annual statement.

electronics arts...lol...

EA form is a form prepared by your employer to show how much you have earned for the year.

Then you plug in this number in e-filling.

erm....work for 1 year and few months ady, but company never provide any form...

anyway, from company internal website, i see there are deductions for income tax every month for 2012, but for 2013, in Jan, deduct Rm100++, this i not sure what happen there...

then i heard from friends need to submit some sort of form before end of april...is that compulsory?
0 experience in this income tax...come to work this morning in monday blue mode then heard about this...
*
1. most likely ur company are preparing it i guess. If not, try ask your senior colleague normally when they can get it

2. the monthly deduction is called PCB (potongan cukai bulanan). This will be reflected in EA form.

3. submit some sort of form - that is called e-filling.

Normally your employer will help you to register with LHDN and they will be able to advice you on your tax account number.

First timer here also . How about those PC I bought , medical, books, expenses? How to reclaim?

In e-filling, there are separate columns for you to fill in for these. Browse through line by line you will be able to spot them.

Don't forget to keep your receipt for 7 years in case you are chosen to be audited.

Maybe the Treasury is low on cash after giving all the BR1M handouts, and various other 1Malaysia handouts. Wait for fresh cash to be paid by tax payers and Petronas, then you will get your refund.
*
haha...but to wait for fresh cash to be paid by tax payers, we have to wait for another 1-2 months or so coz most people do e-filling (hence pay tax) last minute wink.gif

Dear Tax Payers,

Last year (2012) I paid RM 2400 for Medical Insurance and RM 1095.90 for Life/Education Insurance. FYI my KWSP is more than RM 6k as printed in my EA form.

When I'm trying to fill my e-BE form, should I

a) Max out claim for Life insurance & provident fund (RM 6000) and Education and medical insurance (RM 3000)

or

b) Max out claim for  Life insurance & provident fund (RM6000) and claim RM 1095.90 for  Education and medical insurance.

Kindly advise.

Thanks
*
Since your KWSP is more than RM6k, naturally you need to max out claim for life and EPF 6k.

For the 3k Education and medical, both your medical and education has exceeded 3k, hence you can also max to 3k.

Hence your Option a).
