Yep yep.... all 7 Cards.... couldn't get the Visa Infinite (as it's by invitation only)

Keep your hopes up... possibly approved if you can check online @ SCB

all 7 card can get RM300 ? but still need to pay for government tax right ? so each only getting like RM250 nett ? How about cancellation later ? any term and condition or not ?

Applied online 9:30am, received SMS 4:30pm informing of preliminary approval... hope to get the cashback

Received approval sms for 2nd card....dun know can get cashback or not (I am existing cardholder)

i have the SCB platinum card with me for 4 years and i have never been charged the annual fee and gst..no worry..

they will waived the annual fee automatically and you will get 11000 points to offset the gst...

May i know how much spending on the card per year?

Not for me... No AF waiver given automatically. I had to ask and force to "cancel" to get my AF waiver. But my usage of SCB is zero.

I received it earlier RM100 retainer fee when I asked to cancel in Sep

only 1 card is entitled to RM300 cash back, that also is only for new customer, not existing cc holder with SC.

this is what it says in their website:

1.The Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia Berhad ("Bank") Credit Card CashBack Campaign ("Campaign") will run from 1 July 2012 until 31 October 2012; and The Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia Berhad ("Bank") Credit Card 32" Philips LCD TV Consumer Campaign ("Campaign") will run from 1 July 2012 until 31 October 2012, inclusive of both dates ("Campaign Period").
2.By participating in this Campaign, participants agree to be bound by all the terms and conditions below.
Eligibility

3.The Campaign is open to New Customers who successfully apply for any of the following credit cards ("SCB Credit Card") as principal cardholder with the Bank during the Campaign Period:
• Classic Credit Card
• Gold or Business Gold Credit Card,
• Platinum or Business Platinum Credit Card,
• Preferred World MasterCard, or
• Priority Banking Visa Infinite Credit Card,

AND maintain their accounts with the Bank in good standing, without any breach of the terms and conditions or agreements, throughout the Campaign Period.

"New Customers" mean applicants who have not held any Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia Berhad credit card whether as principal or supplementary cardholder within the past 12 months before the applicant's credit card under this Campaign is issued.
4.However, the following persons are not eligible for this Campaign:-
(a) Permanent and/or contract employees of the Bank (including its subsidiaries and related companies) and their immediate family members (spouses, children, parents, brothers and sisters); and/or
(b) Representatives and/or agents (including advertising and Campaign agents) of Visa or MasterCard and their immediate family members (spouses, children, parents, brothers and sisters); and/or
© Individuals below the age of 21 years.


5.New Customers whose card accounts are suspended, cancelled or terminated for any reason during the Campaign Period or within 3 months after the Campaign Period will not be entitled to any cashback or other rewards under this Campaign.
Participation

6.To participate in this Campaign, Eligible Customers must apply for a SCB Credit Card and have it approved, all within the Campaign Period ("Successful Eligible Customers").
7.The Bank's records of the application and approval dates will be final and conclusive.
8.The Bank will notify successful approved applicants via short messages service (SMS) that their credit card application has been approved.
CashBack Rewards

9.Successful Eligible Customers will receive a cashback in their credit card account, as set out in paragraph 10. However, Successful Eligible Customers applying for the Classic Credit Card only will not be eligible for cashback rewards but are eligible for the TV Promotion below.
10.The amount of cashback each Successful Eligible Customers is entitled to will depend on the approved card type and application channel as follows:

Card Type CashBack for Application via the Bank's Direct Sales Agencies or via the Bank's branches CashBack for Online Applications
Gold/Business Gold RM150 RM250
Platinum / Business Platinum RM200 RM300
Preferred World MasterCard RM200 RM300
Priority Banking Visa Infinite RM300 N/A



11.For applications through the Bank's Direct Sales Agencies or via the Bank's branches, the cashback will be credited into the cardholder's credit card account within 30 days from the approval date.
12.For online applications, the cashback will be given to the cardholder in the following manner:-
12.1 For Gold / Business Gold credit card, the sum of RM150 will be credited to the cardholder's credit card account upon approval of the credit card. The balance RM100 will be credited within 30 days after that.
12.2 For Platinum / Business Platinum credit card and Preferred MasterCard World, the sum of RM200 will be credited to the cardholder's credit card account upon approval of the credit card. The balance RM100 will be credited within 30 days after that.

13.The approval of each application is subject to the Bank's usual approving criteria and the applicant's eligibility for the respective card types.
14.If a New Customer applies for more than one credit card through any application channel during the Campaign Period, the cashback will only be awarded to one credit card, namely the credit card with the highest cashback entitlement.

normally how long to know approval? i submit 3weeks and call customer service and they telling me still pending, how long i have to wait?

mine within a day approved, but only one card approved.

If you get the call from agent and approved, will get ur card after 2 week...

how come i received the card for ald few days, but the card is not reflected in my online account??

Normal scenario : Viewable Online, then receive the physical card
Better call the SCB CS to check

No in my case, online banking still do not show card details although vards alreday with me now.
Called CS and ask to wait after the next statement date to check whether appear online....
