does apple malaysia sell refurbish iphone? wanna get one but don't have budget to get a new one..

Excuse me. I went to Celcom branch just now. I want to sign the Celcom Exec i98. But they say the iphone emailing system is currently down so they can activate the line or what. Is that true? damn i want to get iphone & they say have to wait until next monday.

Never heard of it. Probably they meant registration system of the number as they need to do so online. Iphone got no emailing system hahaha.

Uh iPhone plans min starts from i98. I think the other 2 plans u refer doesn't include unlimited 3G data so you better check carefully especially if you want to download data.

yup....i noticed the difference from existing iphone data plan....but im really not a heavy user, just use for social networking only....

IPhone has a separate plan call i98 with minimum RM 98 per month. The data plan is unlimited capped at 2 GB (higher package got higher quota) and if exceed this the speed will be throttled.

Not sure about supp line but was told that min commitment is RM 15. I think mobile data is part of it (using parent line) but not sure.

hi im using prepaid and testing out the rm18/week internet service on iphone 3gs (4.2.1). this morning was super fast, now cant even open mobile pages ... sometimes suddenly no network . i assume my simcard problematic bcoz old old sim so went replace just now...

then till now the internet still unaccessable... how??? any1 experienced?? or any fix?

I think you can buy that plan as well. No need to get an iPhone. 3G speed ok. Love the tethering as I used it to connect my PS3 online and download stuff. I feel coverage better than Maxis (was using Maxis before this).

Depends on your location bro. Or maybe reach your quota already. I used some online stuff from iPhone just now (mine is postpaid plan btw). No problem also.

Hye..I want to ask is it possible if the celcom exec i98 simcard been used in another smartphone and do we still enjoy all the exec i98 benefits such as 2gb data plan and the free call? Or if I use the simcard in another phone it will be chrge or not functioning..and the iphone dat come wit dis package is usable wit other simcard also rite?correct me if I wrong..newbie here..tq!

You may want to check with the technical threads if you think its not provider issue. Not so familiar with that firmware.

Technically the simcard can be use anywhere that accepts microsim and is not phone dependent. For sure iPhone can use other simcard as it is not Sim-locked.

The iphone 5 is coming out soon. There's an event on 4 october for launching of iphone 5. When do you think Celcom will introduce a package for iphone 5. next year?

Well they may need to test the simcard with the iphone so they will put it in first but you can take out anytime to if you want to and use other plans. Be careful don't potong wrongly

Hopefully faster this time around now that all our telco providers got iphones. however, if one of them gives exclusive deal (eg pay Apple a lot more money) maybe they'll get it first.
