Few months on Celcom , so far so good. I am pleasantly surprised by their stable network and good coverage.

I just got my iPhone 4s from Celcom today. Just wanna ask you guys, is it necessary for me to register the iPhone on the Apple website?
Because I did that once when I had just bought my Macbook so I thought I should register the iPhone as well.
However, I still tried to register it on Apple website but it says
"We could not validate the information you provided for this product. Please click the button below to register a new product."

Is it because I bought from Celcom?

Why need to register? If not wrong when u turn on ur phone, it will auto register already and the warranty start.

I'm from KL

now working at Kuantan, mayb around 8 to 10 month, i will back to kl not coming back again.

so if i buy the iphone4s at kuantan,

when the time i need to go claim my warranty,

i need to come back to kuantan(the place i purchase the phone) to claim warranty?

or can i go to any nearest celcom brand or blue cube in (KL) or any state of Malaysia to claim the warranty?

my iphone got crack on lcd and back cover..can i claim warranty?

I am assuming you purchase from authorized telco comp in MY. Then answer is BOLDed above.

Instand warranty void. To what extend they could help you is by asking a whole lot of top up for a new refurbished iPhone from their side.
Topping up that sump is ridiculous, that amount could prolly get you a second set.

What usually people do is to repair it outside.

1. I wan to ask that is celcom iphone 4s unlocked or tie to the carrier? Just like US at&t iphone 4s? Can someone comfirm it?
2. If Celcom iphone 4s have battery problem, where can i change it ? If it is still on warranty, where to change it?
3. If Celcom iphone 4s have problem, will they change the iphone with a new one on the spot, or they will just repair it for one or two weeks?

1. There is no locked set in malaysia. Don't listen to rumours. has been discussed 1,000 times already
2. Within 7 days, can 1 to 1 exchange at celcom branch. If more than 7 days, send to any celcom and wait for repair.
3. Refer back to #2. However, also depends on how big is the problem is.

Yup agree with u..i thought digi faster than celcom..but after terminate line digi last week because digi so much problem ritw now..and im complaint about coverage and internet..they cant solve this..then i subscribe celcom postpaid..Very happy rite now with celcom...

Celcom is good but for post paid quite expensive compared to others. Hmm got pro and con lo...

May I know anyone if anyone took up the celcom iphone together with a call plan with credit card easy payment?
