finally my premium fisonic is back alive . Speed bak to 600kb/s .

you lucky...mine like piece of slow shity crawing to toilet hole. 2xKB/s only.

Currently using streamyx 4mb . Change DNS to Google public dns 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 . i hope it will help you.

haha i tot only fileserve was blocked...did not know filesonic is the next in blocked list dang it

Filesonic is back to normal.

my speed is back to normal.

getting back full speed on filesonic.hopefully this remains

it's it just me, or filesonic take a HUGE amount of time to resume download?
im using idm downloading a single 1gb file using premium account.

Hi guys, my streamyx (1Mbps) slow down since mid of AUG 2011, until end of Oct, back to normal but not 24/7 running in almost full speed like previously (June, July).

During Aug 2011, I heard that got problem on the undersea cable issue, is this true? So is this fix now? Why my streamyx keep not stable and I cannot download in full speed 24/7, just certain hours are download in full speed.

24/7:
June / July = 8-->9GB (24hours)
Aug / Sept / Oct --> 3--5GB (24 hours)

Is this because of Unifi and they slow down other streamyx users?

using google DNS will affect our line's speed or not? just asking.

For this question, its depend on which is better . Every place has best dns. For this try read this article http://www.rarst.net/software/test-dns-performance/ , I have try the software "Namebench" and "DNS Benchmark", and for the result my internet speed will be faster using Google dns , 2nd place: TMNet Dns 3d place OpenDNS. You should try foryourself.

filesonic is slowdown lately on my side

Same here, 5-10 KB/s DL speed from MU, FS, and others filehoster since past 2 days. What happened?

i tried UNIFI & streamyx
MU,FS, all file sharing also below 10kb/s

damm...already 3 days... my 1Mbps streamyx only run full speed during 2am--10am....

changed my dns to the google one, still having slow download from fileserve, filesonic etc etc speed is around 7.1kbps Mine is the Streamyx 1mbps student pack
