QUOTE(zero_kbom @ Aug 10 2011, 03:45 PM) What's up with all the ancient talking here? Maybe for some who wants the latest and greatest, this phone, naah, all Symbian Nokia phones aint gonna cut it. But for me myself, I'm contented with what my N8 is offering. For now. Heck, all my gadgets currently is quite ancient, a Sony Clie' powered by Palm OS, Nokia N810 running Maemo 4, which I do admit is very outdated and already End Of Life. good point. It may be undeniable that android and apple has those advantages. Very true. But as u said.. One man's meat is another man's poison. If a person has his favour on this phone i reli don't see the point of forcing into ppl's minds to accept another one more. If the better phones are already that great, it'll certainly do well even without the need of intentional influences by others.Still, it didn't hamper its usage at all. Nope still working to my taste all these years. I still can read ebooks on my Clie, I still can browse on my N810. Performance aside, it still offer the same set of functionality as in the day I started using it. One man's meat is another man's poison. Just remember that ps: I never said its wrong to have the latest and greatest. Its all up to you.... |

QUOTE(Optiplex330 @ Aug 11 2011, 09:46 AM) These make the N8 too bulky. I was thinking of something like this instead: bulky? its less "bulky" than the Otterbox casing on my N8. The idea is to insert your fon inside it all the time when you dont have access to a charger. its pretty good looking i have to say, tailor made for the n8.http://www.eneloop.info/products/mobile-booster/kbc-e1s.html |

QUOTE(botakbin @ Aug 11 2011, 10:29 AM) I am debating between the L2B vs KBC-E1S. The things that attracts me to KBC are:1. Smaller size. Lighter in weight. More suited for travelling on the road usage 2. Removable AA batteries. Can always pop in new ones ourselves. The thing I have concern about, it may not provide enough current for the N8 when the AA batteries isn't fully charged or at half charge. http://lesterchan.net/blog/2009/09/21/sany...ooster-kbc-e1s/ |
