orz okay it's just the mp3 files i downloaded thru the phone were.... 10kb each (whaa?)

Also, it paired but refuses to connect with my comp thru bluetooth. The pin number that i need to type in when I want to connect bt with the computer is not preset right? As in whatever pin I type on the phone, I'm supposed to type the same thing on the computer?

I haven't actually deleted or modified the phone (other than app downloads) since I rooted it, but I'm gonna try unroot and see if that solves it.

Unrooting the modaco root you just have to put back the original image file right?

is your phone rooted or unrooted?

Yeah, my O2X and Ideos X5 also faced this problem, seems OS related problem to me

since it might be a firmware problem, someone at xda might be able to work a patch for it right?

Resolved by using static ip on the phone But still wonder why can't connect with dynamic ip.

so far so good...i'm using dynamic IP + WEP key (only)..downloading Angry Birds now

For those looking for moar install room, theres a method to format the internal 2GB memory as your data partition for apps. Meaning for apps that does not support App2Sd, you now have 2GB of space for all those apps! Be warned though, you will have to use the 600MB data partition as your internal SD instead once you apply this mod. If it sounds confusing or you wanna see more info, here ROM update--use INTERNAL 2GB SD as data

How to apply the INTERNAL 2GB SD as data update? I no understand.

Seems to just switch between ROM and Internal SD, 2GB will be treated as ROM size for apps and games data while 600mb to be served as Internal SD. However i think system will treat External SD (MicroSD) as internal instead so games data files eg gameloft's games will be able to kept inside.

This would be the easiest way to root your phone. And i would say wait for custom roms to hit Ideos X5 before start rooting. Of course its just my 2 cent, and wow we gaining more user, great

anybody can review a bit on the earpiece volume and speaker phone volume ?? is it soft as many of the internet reviews mentioned for the prototype unit ? since we talking about volume, might as well talk about the ringing too, i heard its LOUD !

apart from that, can go to Google map and do the rotation gesture, does it work ?

the wifi hotspot is infrastructure mode or adhoc mode ?

Buy online from gtorwa. I already bought 2 units of X5 from him and getting 1 more.
After I got all 3 will post the picture. Its indeed a value for money phone.
Im holding to this at least 2 units once HTC sensation price go down a bit.
