Finally remove the annoying 'Hi-Space', 'Document To Go' and 'Aldiko' using Titanium Backup, but oddly seems still failed to remove the 4 perinstalled demo games haiz.

Added on June 15, 2011, 8:46 pmI also tried the clockwork restore and it work very well. Did restore one of my phone to original setting.

1. In clockwork. Go to backup and proceed with backup properly before flashing new rom.
2. Restore will be located in clockwork folder in the sdcard.
3. To restore just ensure sd card is there, boot to clockwork, select the restore and also it will state date of backup. and run.
4. Boot with all the setting from the backup including setting, sms, and call log.

can use either sd card. No meed factory restore. Once you restore to stock rom you can reset anytime la.

Im only using 1.2Ghz as from test and read out its stable at that speed.

how do you make sure the app is installed in the internal sd or external sd?

once u plug in the external sd into it, everything will be install on the external..

It was a setting stated non gmail account or something. Try to see in contacts options.
Did face this before.

Put custom. You will love it. You can always restore back to original using clockwork in a flash.

U success Root & back-up ur X5?
Which custom ROM U gonna choose? B160?
I saw U did list out 3 kernel on top, which is the most stable for use?

OoOo...after factory reset, still consider root?
factory reset not mean back to factory default?
I already try the partition, now internal-1G & external-1.4G.
Might need re-partition to internal 1.4g instead of 1G.

I also still looking the solve way for this.
cannot zip in PC 1st then put back to X5 & flash again?

Yes, 1.2Ghz is stable, when I first started using that day I whack till 1.5Ghz & everytime I received or make call the phone restart by itself!

Root, Clockworkmod & Partition is far enuf for me for now.
Flash ROM will be later.
Now just wan familiar with Ori ROM 1st. Hehehehehe.

i read in some chinese forum, (www.5irom.com) is better to flash to official firmware b4 to custom rom, which means
our stock is B136 (malaysia unit) and B160 is for China, if stock rom B136 straight flash to custom rom B160 might cause
the battery getting hot easily....

however, is more safe if u flash to B160 stock rom and flash to custom B160.

the statement true or not i also dun,t know.. but i just flash to stock B160 b4 to custom B160... just for safe..
