Finally remove the annoying 'Hi-Space', 'Document To Go' and 'Aldiko' using Titanium Backup, but oddly seems still failed to remove the 4 perinstalled demo games haiz.

QUOTE(Silver_Shadow @ Jun 15 2011, 12:07 PM) Oh..Sorry. Is CWM. Hehehehe... download the ori rom from here http://wiki.modaco.com/index.php/Huawei_Firmware_U8800OMG..so many thing to learn. How to back-up the ORi ROM? U know. Mind to tell me. Thanks. Added on June 15, 2011, 12:37 pm QUOTE(piumiu @ Jun 15 2011, 11:38 AM) i think the attached partition on the modaco page is for 2gb unit.. 1.2G DATA + 1.46G INTERNAL SD upgrade package ~~ 2.6GB which is the total ROM+internal sd memory that we have for our phone. QUOTE(piumiu @ Jun 15 2011, 09:37 PM) 1. In clockwork. Go to backup and proceed with backup properly before flashing new rom. thanks.. guess i hv to do perform a factory reset first n then do the backup..2. Restore will be located in clockwork folder in the sdcard. 3. To restore just ensure sd card is there, boot to clockwork, select the restore and also it will state date of backup. and run. 4. Boot with all the setting from the backup including setting, sms, and call log. Added on June 15, 2011, 9:38 pmYes. the restore is what we have at the point of backup. In my case original setting plus all the apps and setting i install at that time. after that only root n maybe update the ROM.. |

QUOTE(Silver_Shadow @ Jun 16 2011, 12:06 PM) OoOo...after factory reset, still consider root? the methods for rooting on page 1 is by replacing the default boot.img file.factory reset not mean back to factory default? I already try the partition, now internal-1G & external-1.4G. Might need re-partition to internal 1.4g instead of 1G. even after we do factory reset, the rooting is still there.. can I know how to re-partition the size? the one i download is set to internal 1.2GB.. i wanna make it to like 1.5GB.. ***************************** i hv use the custpartition to create the 1.5GB partition file.. how do i zip it again? what software to use? thanks. QUOTE(Silver_Shadow @ Jun 16 2011, 05:41 PM) Root, Clockworkmod & Partition is far enuf for me for now. ic.. maybe i'll also stick for ori rom for time being..Flash ROM will be later. Now just wan familiar with Ori ROM 1st. Hehehehehe. Added on June 16, 2011, 6:10 pm QUOTE(waseken2 @ Jun 16 2011, 05:25 PM) i read in some chinese forum, (www.5irom.com) is better to flash to official firmware b4 to custom rom, which means mine is still stock B136.. means i can straight flash to B160, rite?our stock is B136 (malaysia unit) and B160 is for China, if stock rom B136 straight flash to custom rom B160 might cause the battery getting hot easily.... however, is more safe if u flash to B160 stock rom and flash to custom B160. the statement true or not i also dun,t know.. but i just flash to stock B160 b4 to custom B160... just for safe.. i'm juz curious as what's the benefit i get if go for B160..
