My first cook rom flash : AngeloM XWKE7 1.4
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1104385

Remember to wipe cacahe partition before flash ( Just go to recovery mode to do it )

Few hours already on it, didn't see any issues/bugs yet. Phone's performance seems slicker/smoother. The XDA site still points to ver 1.2 but if you go to the alternative download link, you can select 1.4

These are the quadrant scores: 3851, 3905

well below is my personal feedback for both devices..i'm not able to test everything yet, so i'll add it from time to time..

web browsing:
tested with DiGi sim card, sensation has better signal and bcoz of that, it manages to load the website faster than sgs2..
on wifi, still Sensation loads faster, no matter simple html site or flash site..
in terms of website smoothness, both are on par.. not as smooth as iPhone 4, but still at good smoothness level and definitely better than incredible S..

personally, i prefer Sensation for web browsing.
video camera:
- Low light: sgs2 has cleaner picture, but i think the noise reduction is too high cause the picture to lost lots of details. while Sensation shoots sharper video, with lots of details but has more noise.

- Day / under sunlight: i can say both is on par and moving objects look smooth, although personally i feel sensation fps is more constant than sensation.

- sensation offers touch to focus features during video recording..

camera:
- sensation snaps pic quicker but u need steady hands to avoid blurry pics
- sgs2 is a bit slow too focus but the pic is slightly nicer under low light condition. again samsung tends to over do the noise reduction..

personally for video i choose SGS2 while for still image i choose Sensation.

Belum tahu battery life ; just few hours on it.
I forgot to mention, when you flash this rom, ClockworkMod Recovery 3.0.0.5 comes together with it. With it, now one can do a nandroid backup

But I don't sell after just one day ; usually shortest period I ever sell off is a week at least

i sold off my incredible s within 20 hours, luckily lost rm100. didn't like the phone at all summore 3g video call cannot work on this phone. then while itching for the galalxy s2, bought me an LG optimus x2. should have sold off in a day or 2 but delayed to 3-4 days, guess what, they announced a super low rrp, 1899 and I had to lose rm600 on this useless phone. after selling off the two, i asked myself why i experimented with the 'downgrade'. after that i got my hands on a s2 and am at peace right now. sensation is nowhere even close...

Read that sensation is much heavier than sgs2. I would rather opt for lighter phone than holding a stone in my hand.. tongue.gif

Depend on type of apps you can install up to 400 to 500 apps on the 2gb partition which is more than enough for most users. Apps eg games data, newsfeed, dictonaries, reference stuff support data etc are downloaded in the other about 12gb partition of the internal flash memory

Can anyone explain whether there is a difference between S2 from UK and that from Romania in specs and performance?

it's pretty simple.
if u want a device that has highest benchmark scores, punchy colors, light then go for sgs2.
touchwiz is just an iOS ripoff.

sensation is bcos
1) htc sense is the best communication & social networking smartphone software now.
2) more premium feel.
3) sharper display.
