I got a feeling the chrome casing paint will fall off the first time i lay my eyes on the arc..Had the experience coming from SE w705. w705 also had the same chrome at the middle of the housing,my chrome painting on w705 just falls off 
after 1 year of usage..

The second week i get my arc,i put on a cover.But then,the chrome paint still kinda fall off..

i personally think get those rubbish type is better than hard case because, during impact the rubber can work like a bumper to neutralize the impact. ...i think. hehe.

Touch and hold the text input field, then a popup menu comes up that u can select the input method, select chinese keyboard. I myself use sogou pinyin.

i regretted my arc s after few weeks.
i would never expect the overrated Exmor R could be this sucky.
i really have to salute SGS2. Wanted to get it but too common and love a camera button with the arc design, who knew. a 1.4ghz could be this laggy too.
after pressing home button, u still can see few icons loading one by one.
tried to use Go launcher. its the same.
RAM always at bout 80mb. it never fail to pissed me off everyday.
daily kept thinking what ways to boost it.
rooted it and deleted bloatwares..still the same.
i even choose not to use folders. delete some fun apps. just to see it go faster..haha.
SE.i m very disappointed in you.
the only snappy thing bout the phone is the camera speed but photo quality is unacceptable.
i choose customise. i control data and wifi myself.

bro..did u try using easy task killer advanced?im using it..so far ok..playing shadowgun,nfs hot pursuit..all ok..one more..right now i stick to SE launcher..i feel it better than GO launcher, zeam launcher,
if talk about camera phone..i think nokia n8 still the best camera phone..i don't think exmor R is a gimmick..got lot of review about it..and it really show the advantage of exmor R...

i suggest u try using link2sd to save ur internal memory..

i've allocated 1gb from my sd for internal memory usage, so actual internal memory remain >150mb anytime. but this apps need ur phone to be rooted.

u hav already formatted ur 2nd partition to FAT32/ext2/ext3?

if u already format the 2nd partition to fat32 like skyevo said and still not detected, try restart ur phone first before proceed.

how many of you using arc/arc s without hard or rubbery cases, just pouch?

so many cases.
be careful of the corners or scratches since u constantly change cases.
im using a soft case and got a bit sick hold the case then feeling the actually slim phone.
its a pity right? such beauty have to be hidden..
if only SE replace the plastic chrome part with metal. wow..

yeah. when just holding the phone it self..it feels...oh yeah baby..
but then put on a case...i was like ...potong stim.. haha .

im not worried bout the scratches.
im more worried that even if u took good care of it. the palm sweat just makes the chrome chip off..

FYI, by unlocking bootloader, we can flash custom rom in the phone. bootloader is locked by company (SE) to prevent  us from flash custom rom. they want us to keep using their official one. and root is getting access as administration privilege. means with root, u can edit system file for tweaking ur arc to the fullest.

advantage of unlocking bootloader is u can flash custom rom in ur phone. but it void the warranty. scared of warranty void? don't worry. there is method to relock bootloader. means restore back ur bootloader locked.

advantage of root is u can maximise ur android usage. no more restricition here n there. can change font, change cpu speed, edit build.prop file for tweak and many more.

BUT please bear in mind, unlocking bootloader n root has very high risk. may brick ur phone. means ur phone is truly un-usable. can't turn on, can't charge n many more. but once again, don't worry. we r in android scene where almost anything can be solved. u can unbrick ur phone with approriate method.

if u want, i can give simplest n easiest way to unlock n root 

Before u proceed, make sure to set usb debugging. Setting >Application > Development > Tick at USB debugging.

Also, u need to install ADB driver for the phone. Easiest way is download this installer: http://www.junefabrics.com/android/download.php and install it while ur phone connected to pc. (that software actually is for wifi/usb tethering but it also hav installation for ADB driver. ur internet might be disconnect after installing that. just restart ur pc)

1st u need to unlock bootloader n root if u wish to install custom rom. If u don't want, juz root ur arc.
