ok guys..since my screen cracked...now i wan to move to 2.3.4..
im on original 2.3.3 now..So how can i do the rooting?

Please provide me the simplest link ya.

Can someone post how to upgrade from 2.3.3 to 2.3.4 with bootloader unlocked?

Is cm7 better than 2.3.4?

so sorry bro,forgive my mistake coz i noob in understanding all this..

I'm now running 2.3.3 original from maxis(bootloader still locked).

What i wanna do now, is to move to 2.3.4 with root access.
Is there a way to move to 2.3.4 without unlocking bootloader?

So by following the xda forum u state above..i will have rooted 2.3.4?..Thanx
Basically:
- flash using Flash tool to Global Generic 2.3.3 rom.
- Then root using gingerbreak
- Then OTA to 2.3.4 - 4.0.A.2.368
- Then OTA again to another 2.3.4 - 4.0.1.A.0.283
- You will have rooted 2.3.4

thanks to exkaizen im now on 2.3.4 root.
Takes very long the process.

I have a few question hope u guys can relief:

2.i tot after i root apps are all free ,but when i at market,they got ask to pay woh?

3.what are the new features on 2.3.4?snapshot,3dcamera,themes,loudness speaker function ..missing any?

4.hve anyone tried.overclocking?

Screen crack no warranty lo..hehe..coz its your own carelessness..i ask original thorus screen rm 560 coz mine oso screen crack drop on road...Mine edi 6 mths..another 6 months warranty makes no different..void nvm la.

if u got a way to get cheap screen replacement,do let me know..I wanna change too.

rooting won't void your warranty


flashing another firmware might but you can always flashback the original firmware


unlocking the bootloader does void your warranty, there are way around to relock your bootloader but I don't know if SE can tell it was unlocked

Else u wud have pick iphone..and there is something called setup guide.

me also lor,battery drain damm fast especially with wifi on man..wacko..But is damm smooth and fast after removing programs..

If u go back to original,then u cannot remove programs..it'll be slow?

I was on 2.3.4 283 rooted and was able to upgrade to official 2.3.4 42..Now testing battery life.

I upgrade using SEUS like a normal update..surprisingly can ..
