even both place same hot, but it's confirm there's something missing in KL.

Taiwan is d place during summer. i thinks im been poisoned by my cycling buddy.

Same hot meaning you can on cycle during Morning than late Evening nia.. Mid day.. die liao.. I also kenot stand KL mid day cycling..I only cycle in the Mornint or late Evening.

The best place to cycling Taroko Gorge.. but not summer for sure.. As u said.. End of Spring, Autumn or even their mild winter also can but avoid summer.. Not forgetting summer rain & typhoon smile.gif

Taiwan is a budget backpacking heaven dy haha.. Food pricing & accomodations almost similar to KL. Well not all their souvenirs, electronics & etc more expensive haha.

So if you're not from KL, just treadt that you visit KL can already.. That's yur cost

For number of days relly depending on you.

For me 5D4N enable you 1 day Yehliu/Keelong & Jiufen, 2 days in Taipei & 1 day in Hualian/Taroko Gorge.

For other places such as Kaoshiung, Tainan, Alisan, You need to budget additional each xtra days to those areas

7d6n or 8d7n enough to cover "must visit" places?  rolleyes.gif

meaning 5d4n is minimum, am i right?
*
No min can even be 4D3N. Only cover Taipei & probably Yehliu & Juifen... If you just 100% just concentrate on Taipei, 3D2N also ccan dy.. Taipei is good for 2 full days smile.gif

Just buy min. Don't buy Insirance, luggage, Food, Seats & etc..

Once you buy those, it will not be refundeable except the airport tax portion.

You will not know what will happen mths later.. you might cancel that flight & burn all you paid for. Buy only a week or two b4 you fly

Yes. Buy online for sure cheaper than you check-in & pay. There is also huge price diff between Online purchase & buy from AA office/ AA sales agents

errr...meaning buy online cheaper?  unsure.gif

Sure..what, that where Asia tactic..going mean & lean wth less staff.. I setup customer service counter, renting shops, incurring utilities..surely they wanted to charge more to cover the cost rather than the sunken IT cost of having the online sales biggrin.gif ..common sense biggrin.gif

do u all suggest to bring USD then only exchange to TWD in TW or use RM to exchange TWD here in malaysia?
*
Check BNM rate & check closet Money changer.. do some simple calculation comparing to TW money changer i the airport.. If diff not much, you can change here, otherwise, change to US$ 1st & thereafter NT$... Refer to pg for eg & link calculation... The only problem is right now ..no realtime money changer rate to compare. Wawasan in MV already closed

The new Shilin food market now goes underground & much cleaner than years ago ..well done

Yeah, The cityscape of Taipei is so-so only. Wth only Taipei 101 and many highrises ~ 10-30 storeys high, it's abit odd & not evenly spread.. KL skyscape much better looking than many cities in Asia and one of the top 19 in the world for sure
