Nope not going to STGCC this year.

Last year i bought bunch of uncanny and x-men from a fellow collector that is quitting the hobby. I havent had the time to read them all. So right now i'm the middle or reading morisson's new x-men run and WOW it is good. I kept reading issue after issue without realizing hours have past

Just that the artworks suffer half way by Igor Kordey.

Anyone getting the X-Men #1 reprint?

Anyone purchased from Acmamall? How's their packaging? Because I'm afraid to buy books using postage (afraid those crappy Pos Malaysia didn't handle it properly)

Acmamall uses TNT courier and they pack your books in bubble wrap.

Anyone collected Ultimate Comics X 5-issues series? How is it?

Yeah the STGCC in Aug is the only one. Reeds Exhibition (the organisers for STGCC) pushed it earlier this year.

I've read it and it's pretty good, the best thing from Loeb for a long time and Art Adams is always great.

It is short though and basically setup introducing new characters and forming a team and then the book finished with issue 5 so we don't get to see what happens after they get together. I guess it depends how much of it Nick Spencer is going to use in the new Ultimate X-Men comic. I'd give it a B+.

I collected that too, but had to wait quite a while for each issue to be released. Agreed that the art is good and story was not bad, but felt that the final 2 issues were done in a rush. the art was there, but story was kinda rushed.

Adventure Comics is really rocking my world now. Snyder's writing is really intriguing and both Jock's and Francaavilla's art give the mood to the story in two different ways.
