Seems like this thread is only Marvel and DC.

Does anyone read Locke and Key ? It's pretty good.

Yea I do and its such a good read! I think the structure of the comic really reminds me of a tv series.
The mystery and plot are well written.
Planning to get the HC soon!
Do u read The Cape? Another great series from Joe Hill...

Dun forget Green Lantern by Geoff Johns & Doug Mahnke.

Storyline = Superb!
Artwork = Superb!

100% Agree with you!

well for me the marvel titles which I am collecting now are Amazing Spider-Man and Venom. For me Dan Slott is the perfect writer for Spidey. he has the right tone and voice for Peter.

Remender is also another great writer and when he takes over writing duties for Secret Avengers I'm getting on board too. Also giving Scarlet Spider a try this January.

But by far DC has the bigger share of my monthly allowance. Collecting 6 of their titles so far. And GL are in hard covers as that's how I started collecting them.

So half of the Justice League are in my pull list.

Vertigo & Image also has great titles which I buy through HCs and TPBs.

I totally agree that Kick Ass 2 has really been kicking ass. Miller really knows how to escalate things n give us a 'real' story.

Is there a comic corner near Atria hmm.gif
*
Yup there is. Its more of a MTG tournament centre but they do have a range of comics there.

Its not exactly in Atria but 1 of the shoplots right beside it on the 1st floor.

If ur lucky u will find something nice there. I got my Venom #1 from there after a month it was published.

A total of 18 comics. A great reading weekend to catch up on the heroes of Marvel n DC.

Read Scarlet Spider 1... Didn't really fancy it though.

Added Secret Avengers to my pull list. Giving it a chance as its written by Remender and involves Venom.

Aquaman was great. Ivan Reis's artwork will always blow ur mind!

Anybody read red hood & the outlaw and teen Titan?
*
Yes I do! But only for red hood tho. Have to catch up on teen titans.

Red Hoods art is amazing n the storyline is not bad tho. One of the titles I look forward to each month.

I used to though about well nearly 10 years ago. I subscribed for Ultimate X Men. I didn't like it cause yes u get it later than going to LCS and they even missed an issue in my subscription. I'm still missing my UXM #2 cry.gif

and sometimes the issue would come all bent due to local post 'handling'.

Now as I'm older and more mobile, I think the best is LCS or sometimes from trusted online comic shops. smile.gif

The comics corner in sunway closed years ago

Hey guys I just want to ask if any of u are interested in buying an Uncanny X Force run.

Its not complete but has issue 7-19 + 19.1. Its missing issue 17 which is the 7th Chapter to the Dark Angel Saga. Issue 18 is still polybagged.

All are NM-VF except for 7 which is F due it having bents on the top left side. And issue 16 which at the top backside has dent but from front its gorgeous.

To those who are interested and want to complete their collection or get on board this hot title just check out my thread k.

N on other non-comic related news.

I really enjoyed n loved John Carter. As a pioneer to the pre-superhero era I think albeit the movie's flaws it was a great movie.

Didn't finish reading the book before the movie but now I would definitely want to finish all 11 books!
