TPs rarely have value even so need to be in first print.
HC on the other hand will keep its value and maybe lucky increase 2 to 5% but also need to be first print

80s to 00s some have value especially the milestone ones

Brick and mortar shops are long gone even those around will tend to mix tabletop games with it
In Malaysia very difficult to check out a physical comic only book store anymore. Some say impossible as there is no money to be made now.

If you are into collected editions, just hop on the LRT and goto Kinokuniya in KLCC.

Other then that in Subang ss15 you can try Comics Corner if they are still there

gone are the days when comics actually have a decent resale value.
prices stopped going up after the silverage. only very few key modern issues worth a lot of monies and only because it was either from an independent publisher or very small initial print run.

for myself personally i dont collect stuff in TPs but all my books are HCs.

unless another shop opens up then maybe else all are just selling other crap and preorder comics.

gone are the days you can still junk dive to find missing issues. damn internet piracy.

the other day got into an argument with a sor hai and his sor hem in kino. they say why spend so much money on this when you can download for free. i told him well at least you need to download, but your brain i can fit in a 1.44 diskette

Sorry to say these are modern age comics and their value is on an average of +-5 to 10% of the cover price and will go further up or down based on the condition. Thus far the only 2 books that i know from the modern age that are of any value are Walking Dead issue 1 1st printing and Elseworld 80pg Giant with the microwave baby recall book

Are any of these special variants ?

TPBs generally do not hold much value (most of the time depreciated more to less then half of the face value) when compared to single issues and their hard cover cousins.

Bottom line is there are no BIG bucks or BIG items that i can see from these books

err that nice spine crease don't make this NM, the most it is F to VF

NM is used without visible ware, tear and markings
