Most of them have gone out of business, the only one I know of that's still in business is Comics Corner in DJ. Is the one in USJ still open? I'm looking for TPB's and graphic novels. goto Kinokuniyaeven them also stop bringing in the HC that i collect and i need to preorder stuff now they bring in a lot of those TPs |

QUOTE(munchoong @ Feb 11 2018, 01:10 PM) Dark Nights is ok la, hardly the best DC Comics event ever. IMO, it is certainly better than Flashpoint, Convergence, and Forever Evil, but pales in comparison to the likes of Blackest Night, Final Crisis, or Infinite Crisis. yay more HCsBut since it's almost ending, it would be cheaper to just wait for the hardcovers, which should be released in May or June. |

QUOTE(prototaip @ Feb 17 2018, 09:25 PM) I just started collecting Batman DC comics and here are my most wanted titles: they have emBatman Year One (Frank Miller) Batman Dark Victory (Jeph Loeb) Batman Vol. 2 City of Owls (Scott Snyder) I dont care whether it is hard cover, collector set or paperback. If you find it at Kinokuniya, please tell me. Other than Kinokuniya, I visited several Borders stores. They have far less choices than Kinokuniya. I am too lazy to visit Kinokuniya once per week. Need a spy here. |

Newstand editions in 9.0 and above command almost double the price of a direct to reseller edition of similar grade
As newstand are usually sent to a local newstand with the damage typically due to casual browsing by the non comic collectors (idiots that dont know how to take care of comics) and low print runs makes these editions valuable indeed also look out for foreign currency edition of the common newstand book i.e. a new mutants vol1 issue 98 newstand edition with a AUD instead of a US for the pricing is very rare |

QUOTE(techplay @ Aug 2 2018, 11:48 PM) Has anyone here been to Sun Comics at Sungai Wang, KL before? If so, do they sell any Marvel and DC comics? They had a shop in Curve but it closed down. there has never been a brick and mortar shop that sells omputeh comics since like forevermost of the shops either closed or just take in pre orders where you need to pay upfront first you order comes and it is damaged, too bad suck it up and move on only place that i know that still have books on the shelves but a bit randomly is Kino in KLCC else you gotta goto Singapore |
