QUOTE(Everdying @ Jun 11 2011, 09:02 PM) same one i got What do you think? Worth buying? as compared to maybe 681B... the onyl reason I took the 680B is it is shorter when it is kept... about 15cm shorter...compared to 681B.. but only capable of holding 10kg instead of 12kg and has 4 section versus 3 section. Not to mention doesn't stand as high, but I'm only about 178cm.. so inclusive of my ball head I think it should be sufficient for my height.

QUOTE(Everdying @ Jun 11 2011, 09:55 PM) with the 680 at full extension + decent ballhead, a 6ft tall person can also use it. 10kg is enough unless u will be using a 200-400 or 600. anyway i got my 680 on sale at rm148...too bad it doesnt come with a bag...but i used the bag that came with a free nikon tripod from before. if 681 definitely cannot fit into a tripod bag I'll be pairing the 680B with the 498RC2 this time. Hmm, should be just gonna stick it on my FS400AW's tripod area perhaps.. QUOTE(Everdying @ Jun 11 2011, 10:04 PM) not really, just use when u lazy to handhold camera for a long time proper panning technique more important, and that is easier to do without any support. I can pan handheld... but last year got sore shoulder after Super GT 2 days in a row :S... gonna reduce the strain as much as possible this time haha.. getting old .

QUOTE(seng87 @ Jun 12 2011, 09:55 PM) Beauty of Full Frame on wide angle.. Nice on bro.. Thank you Still trying to get into landscape photography, using a CPL appeared to a little tricky on wide angle... only certain portion of the sky is polarized Any tips? Main reason is for a more saturated blue sky.

I did, just when I turn it around, can see a dark portion moving along lol. QUOTE(gnome @ Jun 12 2011, 10:34 PM) lol landscape photography is harder then it looks right? For someone like me who doesn't shoot them frequently, sure does!

QUOTE(Agito666 @ Jun 12 2011, 11:26 PM) now looks better but duno why the green colour is kinda fake-ish for both tires.... even Aldo's some landscape green colour i also feel like i never see this kind of green in my eyes before  My other pic the green also looks like that QUOTE(Everdying @ Jun 12 2011, 11:31 PM) its got something to do with how the angle of the sun rays hit, but in general, 12oclock sun is no good. i only use polariser mostly to get rid of reflections Capture time : 11:33AM Dang, next time aim for sun rise or sun set.. I'm most likely using my CPL during Super GT lol.. Last time I remember at 1/60 f/22 ISO200 I still overexpose -.-... at least the CPL is going to cut light :S. QUOTE(Agito666 @ Jun 13 2011, 07:27 PM) no, summore i mean the green is toward like blueish feeling instead of yellowish... i prefer warmer green instead cooler green... Next question would be, monitor issue perhaps? o_O QUOTE(Everdying @ Jun 13 2011, 07:31 PM) here's what i would roughly do...cheat abit crop the top abit to balance, brighten, and add flare from where i think the sun roughly is. [attachmentid=2271744] Oh! Thanks for the input, will take note for my next shots

I only noticed my monitor is pretty off ._. Maybe before this I go with 5000K let's say for this photo, after calibrated I can go with about 5500K and it appears the same LOL.

QUOTE(vincent09 @ Jun 14 2011, 09:44 AM) mmohdnor, I meet this problem before by installing the samsung monitor driver, it change the color management profile under window setting, just remove the profile then fix it for my case. Oh! I had this issue on XP... Vista and 7 no issue. Just change your color profile back to the default srgb.

Google on how to change the color profile on Windows 7. I don't know the method for Windows 7 because mine doesn't have the issue.

QUOTE(Everdying @ Jun 14 2011, 08:48 PM) u need to have more faith LOL, oh well was a bit worried on the 10kg versus 12kg support comparing 680B and 681B. So far just now tried to mount my gear, its solid! Much more solid than I expected. Pretty good, glad I took this one... and the monopod height is more than sufficient for me.
