iTunes can do your task, just sync your contact from your iPhone to your computer with iTunes and transfer all your contacts to your iPad. Google for instruction how to transfer your contact from your iphone to your computer or else you will lost all your contact with just a slightly setting mistake.

Have you ever backed up your contacts on your iPhone to your PC iTunes? If you haven't, then of course it would not transfer to your iPad. Sync your iPhone, go to Info tab and ensure Sync Contacts is checked. It will have an option to select Microsoft Outlook, Windows Contacts etc. Once you have sync, remove iPhone and plug in your iPad. Then do the same, ensure Sync Contacts is checked in Info tab.

google contact use CSV file. Go save your contact to CSV using excel spreadsheet. Then upload to google contact. Then sync to iPad. For my case, I sync from iPhone to iPad through google contacts. Easy to do and pretty straight forward.

QUOTE(yusvogue @ May 25 2011, 10:24 AM) I use idrive which save all my (2k) contacts. Download at AppsStore from your iPhone first, just the idrive lite should be ok. And then, back up all your contacts in the iphone. Meanwhile download the idrive at your ipad and then, once OK semua, loading back your contact in your ipad. This is so easy nothing more easier than go for cloud saving
