Ok... I can confirm this problem base on IP not base on build.prop... I manage to download some apps that i can't with M'sia IP buy using VPN on EU server...

And i can see my freaking paid apps list...

If so gg....need to wait until they add transformer into my region? :S

definitely not IP block only, else other user can't from other android platform can't access it lor ......
should be like other said, android market not update malaysia IP + asus eepad yet ...

Well... maybe... but at least proxy seem better alternative than editing build.prop...

Anyone?...actually editing build prop is safe..no need to worry..my rom using nexus s n HTC vision fingerprint ..so I can run Netflix from my xt....huhu

Just want to make sure before i get 1 of this.. it hasnt got a built in simcard slot for 3g right?

at the moment no 3g version for transformer yet, it is coming soon.

i m considering just posting on AsusMY FB wall and see what they say there... to me, an indicative date to this fix is more than good enough. else, get a tablet but cannot install anything without rooting it is ridiculous!

I think it is a short term issue. This comes with the turf of being one of the first to own a new device.

Root explorer crashed when i launched it :-(

and in the meantime, this being my 1st android device, i'm happy i got time to explore more... still trying to get used to typing and figuring out the tips and tricks...

and just to share... after 8hrs+ charging... used it for 5-6hrs (not continuous but over the whole day)... wifi, angry bird rio, exploring... battery still got like 20%. i think its good!

anyone knows if our transformer is eligible for income tax relief? I read around many places say that ipad is eligible as long as it doesnt have handphone functions (aka making calls). since our transformer is wifi only at the moment i suppose should be able to claim for income tax relief?

No problem ; I even claim for my ipad 3G/Wifi 2 years ago. No harm trying , the worst is it will not be accepted. Just put it in to claim

ya, i will be claiming tax relief for my transfomer purchase. that's why i paid full for docking as well. just submit the whole dang receipt later on.

if break into two and pay docking later, i worry irb might ask lots of Qs...

anybody knows how to take screenshots?

if not mistaken somewhere in the settings are got an option to set to allow you to take screenshots by longpressing the recently used apps icon in honeycomb. cant remember which section in the settings but it is the main one, so just go in one by one (highest level will do) and find the option. tested and works fine but the screenshot isnt that clear.

I want to go and buy this unit on Saturday but after going thru the threads, seems like it has a lot of problems such as accessing the android market, patching here and there to get things done. All these back me off.
