These days ar, I have a feeling people will stop using laptops in future...

A lot of my campus mates are using iPad 2 and tablets and smartphones like iPhones and Samsung Galaxy and HTC Desire.

They are so convenient. Can go online, play games, open pdf files, almost everything.

But laptops still can play higher end games.

I iz very emo now, i feel like getting an ipod touch or iphone 3gs, something cheap.....sad

Here's something i did to "update" my intel graphics driver

1) Download 4820TG original 8741.1.6 and extract, download 3820TG 8771.1 and extract.
2) Copy 8771.1 .\Packages\Drivers\Display\W76A_INF\Intel folder and paste it in 8741.1 .\Packages\Drivers\Display\W76A_INF\Intel (or you could do like me, rename 8741.1 Intel folder to something else and paste the new Intel folder in there)
3) Run the 8741.1 setup and install normally.
4) Update latest ATi Catalyst drivers and walla

Note: Half way thru it should warn you about installing unsigned drivers. Choose "Install Anyway" then it should proceed on normally installing both Ati and updated Intel drivers without any problems

BTW, Above instruction is for Win7 64bit. It is slightly different for 32bit.

Dont let those bling bling blind your eyes. Those gadgets cannot replace a laptop. They are good in what they are doing; surfing (with tablet, not on a tiny phone screen please!), facebook, angry bird, etc. but should not use it for anything else like writing reports, programming, serious gaming.

But if you do want something cheap, consider Samsung Galaxy Ace, can run the latest Android 2.3, do everything a smart phone can do. But bare in mind, an Android phone is almost useless without Internet... so, you may want to consider getting a data package...

i remember i played that mission before. that was after i completed the game. its a mission to safe the chix doctor right? i saved her. she took off her glass, and wanted me to go with her... i rejected her

anyway, holy crap! i accidentally spilled water on my notebook! i got dozed off on a table next to my notebook, then, my phone rang, i woke up, accidentally knock a bottle of mineral water on the keyboard!

luckily, with my super fast reflection, i took the water away, used a towel dry it up as much as i can... the notebook turned facing down...

... all this while the notebook is still busy torrenting!

it still working fine!

in your MSI Afterburner folder, can you see a file MSIAfterburner.cfg?

Open that file with notepad. edit this 2 lines:


UnofficialOverclockingEULA = I confirm that I am aware of unofficial overclocking limitations and fully understand that MSI will not provide me any support on it
UnofficialOverclockingMode = 1

I have problem with my 4820tg, if I close my laptop's lid, the lid doesn't properly stick to the laptop's body, there's a bit gap, it's like the lid is hanging, so I need to press the lid near the hinges there to make sure it close properly. Anyone having this problem? Can I claim warranty or send it for fix? thanks

My max stable is 774/1113. But i used that mostly for benchmarking only...
