i read this shit b4. but not so details. corsair ram can buy if u wanna play OC. if ssd i not sure.
lee: follow viper which mode? safe/tweaked?

momentus XT? dun lah. wanna follow astria step meh?? straight away go ssd. i asked my cousin find ssd at germany. i think might be cheaper than here & i trust made in german tech! i currently using momentus w/o xt that r performing better than normal hdd like WD! (i mean my lappy that provide the seagate 1)

better than normal hdd lo. if compare only hdd only, momentus xt r 1 of the best. u can ask him. u now wanna go for xt? 2 late lah. just go for ssd. i goin to remove ODD since i rarely use. i wanna buy 500gb ssd + my 500gb momentus. total around 1TB.

ya i know so got space a not? i mean u! cos i know got 2 fan. i think no problem de. i just remove the ODD like lee said earlier. i saw utube. change ssd like so easy. but i scare if claimed warranty leceh leh need to remove it. i a bit regretted with 3 yrs warranty. just said for song only. might go for 128/256 ssd!

You need to buy HDD caddy first, cannot straight just insert SSD.. SSD better put in the HDD compartment, move the HDD to the ODD.

Yes. Better put the SSD on the HDD place since usually the connector on the ODD is slower speed.. e.g. for the Sandy Bridge notebook, the HDD has SATA3 but the ODD usually SATA2 only..

It works, but might not run at SSD full speed.. Line too slow to buffer youtube.

but mine is N5010 dun have sata3 gua? should be still sata 2 on ODD & HDD right? can i put the hdd on ODD & the sd on the hdd? like that works?

Can't say for sure, could be SATA1.. There could be also problem like one in 4830TG, cannot boot into the HDD in the ODD, but can detect the HDD in Windows..
So, still better put SSD in HDD place and HDD in ODD.
