QUOTE(Trance4eva @ Jul 4 2011, 10:19 PM) N55SF most prob coming out Q4 this year or maybe Q1 next year do you think i should wait for SF? hmmmm "The HP Pavilion dv6z Quad-Edition is now available for purchase at the HP online store.Added on July 4, 2011, 10:21 pm If u want a better specs go get the new DV6 with quad core AMD Llano with dual GPU for CrossFire http://www.notebookcheck.net/HP-15-6-inch-...50.56833.0.html Unlike previous Quad-Edition notebooks, this specific lineup of dv6z notebooks includes only AMD processor options. In fact, all processor choices are part of the recently released Fusion Llano family. This includes the Quad-Core A6-3400M up to the Quad-Core A8-3530MX. CPU speeds range from 1.4GHz to 1.9GHz, but can reach higher clock speeds of up to 2.3GHz or 2.6GHz with Turbo Core 2.0, depending on the model CPU chosen. This is achieved by boosting the clock speed of a single core from the processor in a similar manner to Intel’s Turbo Boost technology. While each Llano processor has its own integrated GPU, HP is still allowing users some graphics options. Buyers can choose to outfit their “Discrete-Class Graphics” with up to 1GB of GDDR5 Radeon HD Dual Graphics. Otherwise, system RAM is expandable up to 16GB, the display up to 1920x1080 pixel resolution, hard drive up to 1TB and battery up to 9-cells. All models will include 4x USB ports (2x USB 2.0 and 2x USB 3.0), an optical drive, 5-in-1 card reader, RJ-45, HDMI, VGA and an HD webcam. The chassis of the Quad-Edition is similar to that of other 15.6-inch Pavilions and comes in aluminum with a metallic finish. Thickness is listed at 1.23-inches (3.12cm). The dv6z Quad-Edition can be configured and ordered online starting at $650 with a standard 1-year warranty. We currently have a sample dv6z Quad-Edition notebook in our labs, so expect an extensive review on the Fusion-powered notebook in the coming weeks. so blur.. == buyers can choose outfit their discrete class graphic?? Wat mean wor? errr... or choose Ram slots? FHD? 1TB? Battery? means can choose choose? errr... lolx... wah on par wit gtx????
erm... so far la... in reviews i seen... some games suffered when using dual graphics... while some benefited. frm 2Xfps become 3X fps.... so that's about 40-60% increase in performance?lolx.... still.... if they cant make it stable... no point having it... lolx... also i'm not sure whether their turbo core system is wrking right or not... the review benchmarks... indicated that the core didn't speed up... of course... those reviews are actually pre=views.... before the consumer versions are out.. now im itching to find some review on the real physical launched amd apu equiped lappies and some benchmarks to see are they wrking well. if they do.... bwahahahahaahaahahahahaa.. if they don't.... well.... |
