Already known our Tai Kok developer Sime Darby has taken the whole of Melawati for future development which is very near to Setapak and of course MRCB is also acquiring land here definitely is going to be a high growth area now... and hopefully to see more heavy weight developer coming in than the property price in Setapak will continue to surge for those owner will prosperous $$$ in the future.

Anybody got anymore info other than this developer what other heavy weight is coming? Btw hope someone will share the info of MRCB the exact land location that they have acquired.

U want to know where the land is or you want to question why government granted 59 Inc conditional approval to be rightful owner of the said parcels of land for RM60.8 million and MRCB is acquiring 59 Inc for RM110 million???

I have stayed in Setapak (or surrounding) for few years. Until now I am still suprise not many ppl know about Setapak. They always thought i mean "Star Park".... Where is Star Park? (Some even thought i mean Starbucks)

Then I say KTAR you know? Ya most ppl know KTAR but still dont know Setapak. Infact you have to say "Wangsa Maju!", OH!!!!!! (they still puzzling... heard of Wangsa Maju but still not sure where is it)

Yes agree with forumers, Setapak has changed a lot a lot for the past 4 years (for me most significant is the lake city area). Now already launching 6 phases and i think gonna be 8-10 phases in total? Since Giant is coming over... The property prices are appreciating and this area gaining attention from some good developers (previously the only "branded" developer is UOA - listed soon in Msia)

Taikor, no matter how you slice it, Setapak have more pros than cons lar.........!!!

great! i always thot setapak is a very boring town coz no pubbing..many pub cant survived very long, mostly closed within few years (those target TARC). i hope OT can last lonforever so i dun have to go KLCC area, Damansara Perdana/Mutiara, Desa Hartamas for clubbing.. But not sure if my fren will come to setapak?? I hope OT can invite lin chi ling as usual for open ceremony to draw bigger crowd to setapak..

my preference for establishments from the least ..  giant, then carrefour/tesco/jaya jusco, then supermarkets like coldstorage/jaya grocer complimented by numerous niche shops. btw the giant logo also not appealing visually lo ... kekeke
