Anyone gets 'impressed' by the mild steel railing? I personally not .... a half a mil house by other developer gives better railing like glass.....

QUOTE(Antzfield @ Nov 8 2011, 09:14 PM) you managed to sneak in again? ya, i agree with you, not really "impressed" with that, hopefully, looks better when completed later. how is the finishing of the floor tiles? is the gap between tiles reasonable? I noticed the new bungalow show house unit's floor tiles gap look awful. (TMS, hear this???) Wasn't checking about the floor tiles much as the floor is covering by plastic sheet. But you can always judge it by yourself looking at the wall tiles in toilets below. Hey......I walked in..

QUOTE(krgia10 @ Nov 9 2011, 06:48 PM) I remember MH show unit at least came with stainless steel handrail. Wonder how to voice this out in order for MS to offer us another complimentary upgrade. Haha... Let them hear our voice... Just a lil bit more salt on the wound, the 2nd floor balcony railing is mild steel too instead of glass railing like at 1st floor balcony...sigh why....even the opposite Damai link house c/w glass rail at balcony

QUOTE(krgia10 @ Nov 10 2011, 08:10 PM) Is this kind of workmanship consider acceptable? Well, it's very subjective. To me, it's acceptable. Met a contractor, he told be 2.5 storey is inspected by CONQUAS quality (65/100) minimum.

QUOTE(krgia10 @ Nov 10 2011, 09:07 PM) This is consider a better news to us. In fact, I never expect they will comply to CONQUAS standard. I actually thought only 3storey c/w CONQUAS, but the contractor told me 2 & 2.5 storey are complying to CONQUAS as well, but they're checking on selected units only, not all. Notice that most of the rooms are c/w aircond drain pipe only...you have to lay the copper pipe yourself. As for tile, pretty same as the 3storey show unit, but upper floors are using 500x500 tile....mostly KIMGRES

QUOTE(krgia10 @ Nov 10 2011, 09:18 PM) Normally copper pipe is not included. Standard A/C installation should include at least 10 feet copper pipe. 500 x 500mm same as 1.5 x 1.5 ft? I thought it will be 1 x 1. Yah, I thought the same too, I was surprised when I saw those boxed tiles placed on the 1st floor was 500x500....only the rooms at ground floor are using 1x1... another info from the contractor...for 2.5storey, the proposed staircase going up to the back aisle is now omitted, the retaining wall is constructed toward the backyard of 2storey.

if you look at the layout plan, you will see a staircase at your backyard. for 2.5storey only. which means, if you want to go to the back-lane you will have to climb up, coz the level is higher than your backyard. but for the latest design, backlane and backyard are same level.

I thought there is two entrance to phase 2B, one located at the Mahajaya show unit, another one at jalan DU4/7, the road separate 2.5 and 3 storey.

QUOTE(mrkenjiro @ Nov 11 2011, 02:11 PM) If this is the case then we can actually use the big KR gate to go home Couldn't agree with you more, nicer road with trees. Rather than passing by damai link houses. The entrance for phase 2B is pretty much fixed, a small guard house has been built at both entrance, but SA told me there could be a possibility they're going to upgrade to a bigger one which can fit CCTV system... Very much depend on the consultant.

I think I misunderstood the KR gate. You're talking about the main guard house next to the pool near 3SS show unit?

For 3 sty also got buit in security system right ? Only 2.5 and 2 sty no security system.. Of course i hope the guarded house will be nicer and bigger.. because we not only paid for the house.. we paid for the concept also.. and it's not cheap! 3SS c/w smart security system, touch screen. 2.5 & 2 sty c/w normal security system.

QUOTE(mrkenjiro @ Nov 14 2011, 09:37 AM) I would like to our house's main entrance to be via DU 4/7 (TMS, please make it a double volumne proper entrance) rather than the existing showhouse. I want to position my house as part of KR and NOT part of Damai Utama(MH's old development project) as this will impact valuation. Even though if my house was at the same row with MH units, I'd still use the main road with the KR signboard to get to my house.....like what you said, don't wanna be part of Damai Utama.....

QUOTE(mrkenjiro @ Nov 29 2011, 09:50 AM) The fella over at the other thread are finalizing the memorandum for KR. I think we should also 'try' to raise something for the 2 and 2 1/2 owners. Since most of our units are already 60% completed thus we couldn't do much about structure/layout of the house but we could ask for 1. Autogate 2. Security System like the those in Semi D and Bungalow (since we are also paying maintenance fees) 3. Decision on our main entrance (should be the same one as 3 storeys) 4. Anything else... They are submitting the memorandum tomorrow so we need to decide today. agreed to you. especially Item. 1....it's a must.
