heard nowadays, they got marimo farms which imports them from germany, thats y some marimo are sold cheaper than genuine hokkaido ones..
any comments on this? |

hurm, good point, and i cant deny it.
well, like you said, need to trust the seller and their customer feedback's since i dont know how to differentiate between Japanese marimo and European ones. and nvr been to Hokkaido before to see for myself for the russian marimo's claim but ive seen myself one shop selling lake balls in UK claimed getting from scandinavian countries lake and they sell it for £30 each..damn bloody expensive hehe different growing environment i guess? |

Got word from Marimo Club that they are selling marimo nutrient formulation for speedy growth and better health in one utama shopping mall and e@curve
gonna try to buy them if i got time and test it |

yup much cheaper, but cant eliminate 100%, can be used as a population control though.
attach string to a boiled timun/zuccini, then let it sink in the tank, during the night, you can pull it up back after all those big snails swarming on them |

those RM1, RM2, RM5, RM10 shops do sells nice stuffs for holding marimos..
i bought a few from them for my previous marimos too |

standard 2ft tank can be bought as much as RM28, of course its not round edge and it got bracers, doesnt look nice though. unless you know how to hide those
ugliness |
