Guys, to preserve battery life, its better to remove it when using the power adapter right? (less charging session) hmm.gif
*
In power mode - unplug the battery
in battery mode - unplug the power adapter

recharge the battery when your laptop is turned off. smile.gif

I'm planning to get Sager NP8130 from US dealer.. which one you guys think would offer the best value (cheapest including postage).. I tried to do customise in XoticPC.com and the total is usd1k with postage it will be usd1.3k. any better deal?

I'm in Aussie btw, you guys reckon i post to my friend in malaysia and he bring over or just post directly here? (iinm there's custom duty on electronic item imported to australia)
*
definitely need to buy from local AUS reseller such as Logical Blue One, much cheaper compared to buying overseas since your country impose tax on imported electronic products which cost you even more.

You can upgrade the card by yourself without bring it to the reseller.

guys u know how much shipping from xoticpc to m'sia?is there any tax if i shipped it to malaysia?

@soundsyst64

do u mean by upgrade,i can change it to a more powerful card?e.g gtx 580 in sli?
*
The shipping from xoticpc to malaysia will cost you about USD 300++ using USPS ExpressMail International
You need to refer on the manual/specification list of the laptop model before upgrading. Not all models can upgrade to 580 sli

As you can see, I sacrifice CPU for GPU. He will buy HDD and RAM locally. Anyway, is there any difference between i3 and i7 on gaming performance? And one thing, how much does it cost to ship back to their company from here if something goes wrong on the lappy one day?  hmm.gif
*
Oh, another buyer buying from RJtech. biggrin.gif
In terms of gaming, processor might bottleneck the GPU to deliver optimal performance.
For shipping back, just ship using Poslaju EMS or courier company.

1. If you're not rushing, you can wait for new line of graphics card and processor
2. There's a difference in terms of colors, and that depends on your preferences.
3. Not much difference if you focus on faster OS/program loading. 1333mhz is more then enough for normal user.

Updates on NP9270
http://forum.notebookreview.com/sager-clev...tml#post8269327

about cpu heatsink, i think p270wm one is better, bcz the heat pipe stick on copper fin, larger their contact area(x7200 one heat pipe pierce into copper fin)
but p270 one has 40~45 fins and x7200 one has 50~55 fins

and see the pic, one of the dimm is under the heatsink, must take out both fan and heatsink to upgrade it:)

using np8130 with GTX560m. version has been updated to the latest.

been experiencing random flickering on screen and sometimes a message will popoutat the taskbar saying that the Nvidia has experienced and problem and has recovered from it. but if i dont restart my laptop it will keep happening. so whats the problem actually.
*
mine install 28.62 driver, gtx460m. Experience at least once before (with old driver version)
Even turning my laptop on for 3 days straight and play BF3 several times, i didn't experience such error.
in this case, have to check with your seller.
