man city can't win without kompany, so man city is a 1-player team?
where is kolo toure and onuoha and who else?
maybe de jong can play there, but will concede a lot of goals n couple of penalties
i hope the ref decision will be overturned so liverpool will lose to man city, manchester second team... doesn't matter which manchester club as long as it's manchester

Despite the loss, I thought Man City played really well with a man down and gave Man U a run for their money in the 2nd half. Keep it up and I think there's a great prospect of winning the league.

That red card had me confuse too. From one point of view, it does looked like a clean, ball winning challenge. but, on the other hand, Kompany did use two footed challenge to win the ball which as we all know, two-footed challenge are dangerous. if, let say Kompany didn't the get the ball but caught Nani instead, then it definitely will be a straight red. but in this case, i'm confused.

You do believe that eh?
Unfoytunately for us Giggs' 2 legged lunged and back scissors wasn't red-carded

What about this Evra's elbow on Micah

Don't be surprised that Evra's misconduct is  retroactively reviewed.

dude, you got the luxury of repeated view of the incident.can't you see giggs didn't do a two-footed challenge?he slide in with one foot behind.if that was a foul,he only deserved a yellow card.

Graham Poll opinion (take note, he's former professional referee so his view based on his experience whether it's sound bias or not):

Most people here don't bother to read because for them, the only thing that matters is winning. For them, who cares whether the red card was fair or not. A red card is a card. A fan with a brain and some sense will agree with Graham Poll.

Anyway, congrats on the latest win on Wigan just now.

ADMIN pls do something about AFK TS..

Most of us watch the video replay of Mario alledgedly stomping Parker.

Are you sure?
Watch it in normal motion
user posted image

As a martial arts proponent can you see Mario intending to stomp Parker's head before or after Modric's shove?

If he was intending to stomp wouldn't you think he would have tighten his core muscles in his upper body to check his body motion from the shove?

His peers (experienced footballers & athletes) on the field did not see anything untoward or anything remotely resembling a stamping or violent conduct. Else they would have reacted in uproar even Webb saw it as such and told them to move on.

Now Mario's backheel planting (not stomping) can be explained as such if you take into his account of his lower body actions especially his pelvis rotated and his left leg askew from the SHOVE with only his right leg to correct for balance!

Ok now since you watch it in slow motion and you have noted Modric's shoving. Watch Parking crawling a couple of paces forward instead of cowering & protecting himself with his limbs.

Isn't what Modric (shoving to topple) and Parker (to bowl) a classic double play?

There are elements of doubt. Can we prove Mario intended to stomp on Parker's head which incidentally he graze only with his calf, given that Parker was advancing his head too. Or is there a plausible reason as per above for his back heel?

MU fans need not respond icon_idea.gif

And to those who have judged, juried and convicted him too.

C'mon la, talk about more important issue. i.e. what the fark was Micah Richards doing after Lescott scored against Tottenham. Don't get me wrong, Micah is a superb fullback, but seriously, what was he thinking. Pity Lescott, he just trying to celebrate his goal, but sadly, he actually did, but credit to him for trying his best. tongue.gif biggrin.gif jk oni la guys icon_rolleyes.gif

Hey everyone. First post in this forum! Been supporting City ever since Mark Hughes was gaffer. Always will support City but I think for the money spent we oughta be getting better results and not rely on a player too much. (Kompany, Silva)

C&C welcome.
