Didn't watch the game but I have to say the sending off was really harsh after viewing it on youtube. He did go in with both feet I suppose but he was sliding on his arse and clearly won the ball. A few weeks ago, Jay Spearing got a straight red although he won the ball as he was adjuged to have not been in control of his tackle. Now Kompany gets a straight red for a much less dangerous challenge. Harsh really and I won't be surprised if you lot win your appeal against the red.
