Why would they when their biggest userbase is in the US and Europe?More like Sony should restore the whole world at once, but since they can't, prioritizing US and Europe makes sense even though we hate it.

Actually Asia is bound under Japan. Servers are in Japan not HK. HK is just a support side. I read this somewhere long time ago so dont have the source now.
Try logging in from kz3 website, you notice it says under maintenance and also in japanese. This post has been edited by SimonsayZ: May 16 2011, 08:41 PM |

I see, in that case it IS related unfortunately :/Try logging in from kz3 website, you notice it says under maintenance and also in japanese. Original point still stands though, if they could only restore region by region, the wise choice would be US and Europe first. I want my PSN back -.- |

(about that article about the Japanese government and PSN)Well that makes sense, I mean, it would really "suck" to find out that you've been hacked or scammed after you reactivate your account so; "better safe than sorry."
However I do hope that the "PSN" is back tomorrow or sometime soon, if not well; patience is a virtue. I read somewhere that one of the suspected hackers might be a Malaysian, if so we may always take comfort and pride in the fact that we specialize in malicious spyware programming, I don't think what the hackers did was right, but I take my hat off to them for managing to best a multinational cooperation's network defense.(No offence meant) |

i agree with post #262, twojay.... i think its more userbase related, rather than what happened to japan... nway, earlier today i think, there was a post on playstation blog, where they had to reset the US server due to too much password change requests (which is compulsory) to clear out the queue. i think this pretty much explains why they had to open the network one at a time, and indirectly had to set which one to prioritize...
just my opinion though |

lol... if its msian... its not good news... we are prone of doing many evil stuff and get very very heartlessly creative... and its goin to give us bad reputation, maybe lesser support in the future and more spying on our network which we all have to agree???
hang on... is he/she one of the forumer here??? lol.. |
