Actually Asia is bound under Japan. Servers are in Japan not HK. HK is just a support side. I read this somewhere long time ago so dont have the source now.

Try logging in from kz3 website, you notice it says under maintenance and also in japanese. 

i agree with post #262, twojay.... i think its more userbase related, rather than what happened to japan... nway, earlier today i think, there was a post on playstation blog, where they had to reset the US server due to too much password change requests (which is compulsory) to clear out the queue.  i think this pretty much explains why they had to open the network one at a time, and indirectly had to set which one to prioritize...

I had a fat ps3 b4 i created my psn account on that console but now i have sold it and bought a slim, i deactivated the account b4 selling it off maybe i could change my psn account password on my slim correct me if im wrong plus my email that is used for my US psn account is blocked by stupid msn since after it was hacked dem im so screwed if sony wants me to change password i still remember my old password but if they lock the psn account region i sure die all my saves games are in there. if the save game can transfer to other account xde hal if kenot die lor

sony gets hacked, shuts down to prevent further damage/problems, and people bitch about it.

first one could care less about your system being compromised.

second one seeks to lessen the burden.

i bought the BolehVPN for 7 days (RM10), but its worth a buy for me to watching Hulu, ABC, NBC, Fox Veoh Pandora etc all americans tv shows..

tho im not in any succeed to pulled the VPN method on PS3, but i might continue buying bolehVPN for another weeks or so until PSN up....in the meantime so much tv/movie shows to watch...
