I let it dry after using some marker to cover the cutting mark then gone  anyone here hve converted their HI-NU to resin conversion.mind to sell me this or else, I need to do the conversion and spent more $. btw, about the mcmodel HI-Nu, I think bandai Hi-Nu also very soft la.I accdntly press a little hard on the leg armor n now got white mark edy myb all hi-nu share same plastic materials?currently polishing my Hi-Nu to give some blink-blink finish n trying to mold the missing part using epoxy...huhu anyone here thinking on buying TT Hi-Nu for spare parts? |

no painting...u must have a very strong heart for sanding process
too bad I dont have 2000grit sand paper.just use 320, 1000 and 1200.then polish it wif tamiya polishing compound (finish)....wet sanding. 320grit only on certain parts. especially wen u cut the runner badly I do think on painting the silver parts at the legs cos u can see I didnt cut the runner too well cannot sand on this one cos it was painted from factorybtw, the leg pict is the comparison between polished n non polished.left leg was polishd This post has been edited by finalazy84: May 25 2011, 09:41 PM |

so far, I dont think I've worked more than 48 hours for a leg and the shield.the only part that took too much time is the foot as Ive done some damage during the build and experimenting on this technique. it's not tat hard actly.if u wet sanding, the sand paper last longer than dry sanding. also it depends on the plastic.as for the shield, I only use 1000 and 1200 grit sand paper. then dont forget to rub with this

I try it on a bootleg so it doesnt cost me much. Later whn i build a bandai kit, i'll kno the best material to use and easy to find at the cheapest price. Hehe. |

Pretty Shitty~ THE Anchor Brand Spray can... is quite lausy... the paint will spills off the tip of the spray.. and does this to my hand.. damn~... I want to have more accurate touch on spraying also very hard... I still prefer those branded spray can
Aeromix.. RM9 each bottle.. more nice n fine... [attachmentid=2237753] I had also tested the Tamiya Clear pearl on my PG Wings ... the after effect was not bad.. I will show more pictures if possible.. wait till it drys off first.. It was a little glossy and also the white become a little pearly white with some shaddy effect =,= .. Cheers.. RM30 saje.. biar la not RM 100 T_T.. well.. if really dun want to modify the gundam.. buy ORI .. if decide to train, to polish urself on painting and decaling + any other training.. just get Fake .. atleast not so expansive.. well.. for me.. Fake or Ori.. dun care.. Gundam is Gundam... as long as not cacat.. than I love it.. |

Gigi technique will apply tremendous pressure on the contact points even if you use a towel as buffer, sure will pecah lor!

no no dont use your gigi xD
cut the male peg so you can fit it in nicely (google for cut male peg gundam) Dont use excessive force, else you'll get unwanted marks on your gundams. personally i dont think hongli's plastic kinda 'rapuh' just be extra gentle with em hehehehe just my 2 cents 8D |

Oh finally understand gigi technique. Im using it too, but is my pliers gigi. To avoid unwanted marks, i cover it with the t-shirt im wearing, folding up to 2-4 layers. So far so good

which parts?hve u tried using teflon pipe tape (use this on my patlabor back wen I was a kid
) dulu2 patlabor, the skeleton was made from metal.very heavy.but of course the scale small only la. I think like HG.if u have time, do experiment wif epoxy. put some around the male peg (dont put too many) then carefully insert the other part, then remove it.let it dry, n try to place it back.if too tight, then use the Sunat method |

Anyway, why don't either TT / MC Model remold back the Banpresto Gundam Head Display? (the all 4 sets of collection).
For sure got a lot of people will buy one. Right? Ok. If really there a chance for them to remold it back, who want it? Let's poll the result here. Who knows got people that can 'connect' to TT / Mc Model will notice this and speak this thing up to them? Me absolutely WANT ONE!!! my first attempt on a gao gao strike freedom full burst.. fuh having troubles fitting the parts nicely.. end up snipping the pegs away and use cement to fit them XD parts arent really symetrical.. but well with some amount of effort, its turning out pretty decent. just the face at close up dont really look like the ori

Yeah, from Model GD
.. but the quality is not bad.. Maybe my skill improved haha.. I had no problem fitting any of the parts.. but ofcoz spend time of average 3 hours for model GD kit.. because nid to cut out all the excess gate.. Other than that.. it's much of the fun.. no drilling or make the hole bigger. To My surprise, Model GD is better than Bendi.. u can actually achieve chrome like surface using a black for primer, silver and then any clear color. then u polish it using compound.

yup, thats Shachihata Artline. i have one of those. if u are buying a gold Unipaint, it will not produce real shiny gold finish but will just be bronze like only.
i have a few of the Unipaint pen. Red (that dont really come out red, but pink), Blue (thats kinda a sky blue color) and White (that is useless). haha. the white doesnt even stick to the surface. i think investing in a gundam marker is the best thing to do. |

Anyone got the 999 Limited Edition Rx93 gundam? It's pre-painted and I never deal with paints before.
1.Should I do panel lining first then top coat, or top coat first oni panel lining? 2.If the Gundam Marker smudge out, leaving some black stain on the plastics, how should i remove those stains? I heard sandpapers or thinners. Normal thinners can be used? |

juz decide sky blue->chrome,dark blue->flat black...everythin else juz clear spray.... a bit lazy... For me, buying bootlegs no need to go shop la. Better deal with personal seller like Takumikun. Better price, better services.
Unless u want to buy bundle, like 6-8 kits one shot, then its better go to shop la. Coz some shop give you EXTRA discount if you buy bundle one. |
