call to the kia service center n ask them on this.. i think most probably they are able to claim it from yr insurance..
most of the time, the panel workshop will use non-ori parts for replacement..
workmanship wise, some are very lousy...

i'm one of the unlucky 1 to get the dashboard noise..
send to SC few weeks ago to fix it.. so far, no more sound from the dashboard..
but then, i also complain about sound from the b pillar on the driver side..
they said they alrdy fix it n claim that the sound is comin from the door..
but seem like i still hear the rattling sound on the b pillar.. goin to send bck to them to fix this when i'm free..

hey guys.. i'm feeling that my forte 2.0 ride is quite bumpy...
anyone feeling the same or it's juz my car suspension having problem (few months car)?
or isit due to the low profile tyre? need advice. thanks.

I don't expect it to feel like conti car..
juz that i feel it's quite bumpy even when travelling at low speed or going over hump..
furthermore, juz got a baby.. hope can get a more comfortable ride for her..

still using the default tyre now, if not mistaken is the silverstone 1..
maybe after the tyre goes bald, plan to changer to a better one..
do you think changing to 215x50 R17 will make the ride more comfortable and able to absord the uneven road better?

Added on December 13, 2011, 1:40 pmif you go outside with the key, the engine will still running. If you close the door, then it will give some buzzing sound to indicate that the smart key is not in the car.
but then, u won't be able to lock the door using the smart key.. only able to lock by the occupant inside the car.

u thinkin bout changing due to the bounciness?

mine having rattling sound on the B pillar on the driver side seat belt..
alrdy send to Kia SC last week n hopefully the problem alrdy been rectified since it's a intermettance rattling sound..

yup. left the car there for them to identify the problems cause the rattling sound is very intermettance..
sometimes got, sometimes dun hv..
will call them later to check on the status.. if not fix, will leave for another 1-2 days..
dun wan to get the car now but problem still nt fix..

mine is car problem.. coz the rattling sound sometimes appear even when in low speed driving (50km/h) on smooth road.. sometimes i drove more than 110km/h on highway also don't hv the sound.
thts y it's hard to identify the root cause for it.. only thing i'm aware is the sound coming from the b pillar, near the seat belt area on driver side..
it's very annoying..

mine is at the lowest lvl.. earlier has the dashboard noise, which alrdy fix few months ago..
also leave my care for like few days there...
