Ok guys, need help here b4 i decide whether to book the 1.6sx onot. Have been doing lots of survey, check through some owner's forum. Most of the negative comments about the car is:-

1) Low re-sale value (well, this i dont give a damn coz dont think gonna sell so soon)
2) High FC, about 0.20/km city drive (yes, this kinda worries me. But some owner has better fc after 1st & 2nd service, but others?)
3) Pricey parts, certain parts sommore no keep stock ( anyone has bad experience on this b4 ?)
4) Of coz there are also some minor-minor problems like rattling sound frm dashboard, under the seat, steering alignment out 1 side ect. (errmm...i think i can bear with that, in fact some of it actually can be rectify)

can any1 share abit? Yeah i know.....lots of ppl already asked b4 about all these things. But I just quite concern on FC side and the spare parts, really need more advice.

Appreciate those who can help or provide valuable info.

2) My FC is about 0.17 sen per km since I bought this baby in Feb 2011. If FC is a big big big big big concern, get vios instead. You can't have everything
3) Not that i'm aware of or heard of..maybe those with the first gen (4 speeder) one can give u better comments
4) Heard of rattling dashboard, thank god mine is fine..but i have some minor rattling sounds from the window, steering alignment is out..and still out, i'm living with it, plan to get it fixed at some shop (outside of SC) when i'm free..just a bit lazy to get it done

to protect your boot when u go pasar with wife or family, etc.

1) dono, but dont think so. (4 speed value might be a little low now, but i think due to new 6 speed. just a little bit lower, still decent.)
2) new 1.5k mileage, slow traffic, town driving everyday about 0.16/km-0.18/km. highway, i get around 0.13/km. car of this size should it is pretty decent, in exchange of comfort and stability. (else get a vios, it is so light)
3) original parts all pricey, lppl, nomatter japanese or korean. stock depends on item, may up to 2-3 months. read some thread earlier that headlamp replacement in 1 week. Japan/Conti/local parts usually also need to wait 1-2 week. (unless the car have real famous problem, so got a lot of standby, apply to most manufacturer)
4) so far no rattling, dont have the famous alignment issue. (rattling every car nomatter T, H, P, M also got, depends on your luck and daily road condition, and your initiative to fix it.)
5) went to 2 different SC, so far they still pro and i dont see shit yet.

I think it should be, included under "General market" or in local terms, dan lain-lain... lol.

No matter Forte or Cerato or Cerato Forte or Naza Forte, as long as it comes from Kia then it should be considered in the global stats.

Guys. Beware of Sh@rty shop. Whoever bought and install spoiler from him do check your spoiler cos it would crack at the bottom near the screw. Mine cracked after two week. Sh@rty said it abs material but abs don't crack right?

Maybe it was screwed in too tightly. If it was installed by him he should rightly change a new one for you and claim from his supplier.

Hi Forte owners,

Anyone here got their dashboard noise fixed (1.6SX FL)? Mine experiencing noise/rattling around the right aircond vent near the cd player. Went to SC twice for fixing but still occurs the next day, very annoying.

Any suggestion to get rid this annoying rattling sound. Thanks
