this is the answer :
1) Noise is refering to the tyres, not rims...as for low-profile tyres, the noise are quite loud
2) 17'' If u wan have better grip, traction and look, but bumpy and will feel underpower for 1.6 4spd(not sure bt 6spd), while 16'' is for more comfort n not so bumpy ride
3) for 16'' should be alright, might not as stable as 17'', but hey..we're juz normal drivers, not rally or speed cornering machines....

The reason why i use stock rims(17'') is i dun wan mess up with my speedometer readings....yes, by changing size, ur speedometer readings will be more unaccurate than the originals...while originals only 5km/h from GPS reading....next, i love 17'' rims look than 16'' or 15''.....

QUOTE(Nitjinsu @ Oct 31 2011, 03:30 PM)
Hi i m new here..previously using Perodua Viva 850 cc for 4 years..currently using Kia Forte SX 1.6 for 4 month..reach 16,000 Mileage....already here scratch and there scratch..somemore ppl throw stone and scratch my car alot..Just finish doing spraying and polish wax...but when take out from workshop suddenly a Proton Saga BLM Fl...hit my but directly...The Blm bumper drop and bend it,big light drop, number plate drop down..while my car only got a little scratch @_@....too bad luck for this month...i m facing a lot of problem about my car..firstly was the dashboard a lot of noise when idle or driving....secondly was the fuel consumption was worse like my bro 350Z ..10l per 100 km...thirdly was the tyre and wind noise..tyre noise was worse than my elder bro myvi...fourth was the car acceleration, too slow even i m using paddle shift it was too slow to overtake a lorry or bus...still get bully by proton exora..lastly was the car steering was a bit heavy compare with my home Vios and City..the turning radius sux somemore..Thats all my comment about my car biggrin.gif....
*
well, for dashboard issues, u can solve at SC...ask mr. arul's help....
as for power, try change your battery to higher amp type..like current is 55, change to 70/75.....that will give extra boost of electricity to ur car, and add on ground cable(not the 1 with voltage stabilizer), change to iridium plug and simota/k&n air filter......that will boost ur car's performance...juz remember, never mod ur exhaust....
