Added on December 22, 2011, 10:59 pmMy chasis seem suffer from metal fatigue i think. Front fender start giving sound rrek..rrek at uneven road. Some more when going slowy up a ramp or hump can hear metal creaking. Any suggestion to fix this?

In my mind i may need some bars or inject foam inside my chasis. What do u think?

JJJ, check door hinges first.

Easy. Normal sick for waja. The sound is from the weld spot on the fender. Remove the fender, apply silicone gum on those weld spot. Wait the gum dry, then appy grease. Problem solve.

I changed my RIM to 16", using 205/50/16 (using stock abs and spring), when I carry ppl at the back and go over bump, i will scratch my mudguard.

Do i have anyway to solve it??

today on my way to kl..i accidently ter-drift...the corner on Duke is soo sharp...the speed is arnd 110kmj corner before tol to exit Air Panas..actually i forgot tht im not on the adjustable anymore ...then suddenly Tg. Djan voice echo-ing in my head..."excellerate....excellerate....excellerate....at the corner if ur on pursuit!"...denggg....i excellerate hard and manage to control+the screeching sound is really pumping ....at the Toll can smell some rubber burn..waja handling is superbs...

using the same siza like u on my gen 2. using buffer also no use. but can try la. i put buffer still scrapping. one solution is to bend the fender. but no way in hell i'll do that to my car.

205/50/16 you lose close to 1.5 cm fender-tyre gap bro... hence i'm running on 205/45/16... you can try using the spring buffer/cushion but it WILL wear down/deformed permanently sooner or later...

On the other hand i limit how many passengers i carry.... short drive 3 ppl at the back (coz drive slow) ... long distance 2 max at the back...

Guys last time i posted about changing to adjustable when my rear absorber kong... in the end just changed to kyb oem coz really scared to lose the comfort part..

I find that oem kyb for gen 2 cps a bit harder than the stock absorber... so proton ori absorber is really that different from oem kyb?

Now got kluk3 sound at my front wheels when drive on very rough road even at 20-30 km/h.. not sure if it's absorber or the mounting or it could even be stabilizer bar link joint... need to troubleshoot.

If i change front absorbers planning to try sachs super touring... anyone here on sachs can comment further on the absorber comparatively against stock absorber?

and one more findingd, Bendix MKT really eats your brake disc rotor.. . managed to warp my front disc rotor with MKT on but it's because i already skimmed my disc before... stupid proton service center did it... DO NOT SKIM heat treated/composite disc rotor!!!
