Seems, your prediction bout SIENA didn't come true after they narrowly defeated LAZIO shocking.gif .......Anyway Chievo will be joining Ascoli and Messina in Serie B next season.

Ancelotti's Azzurri dream

Carlo Ancelotti admits that he dreams of one day coaching the Italy squad, but insists this will not happen before 2010.

The Coach was linked with a job on the Azzurri bench over the last few months and makes no secret that he would be interested in the position, although it is not one of his current priorities.

"I don't think I will coach the Rossoneri all my life and I would one day like to work with the Nazionale, but not until after 2010," said Ancelotti, who is currently contracted to the San Siro outfit until 2008.

"I don't believe there will be any problems for my contract renewal. I still have a year here, there will be time to discuss," added the tactician in an interview to Radio Anch'io lo Sport.

"When this current adventure is over, I would like to coach the Azzurri squad."

The tactician then moved on to comment on the rumours of Andriy Shevchenko's possible return after his disappointing spell with Chelsea.

"We would be glad to have him back, but this is not a decision which depends on us," explained the former midfielder.

"Chelsea paid a lot for the player last year and I don't that they will let him leave, also because they will be without Didier Drogba for a few months because of the African Nations Cup."

There was controversy during the weekend when Ancelotti said that a star player who "nobody could suspect" had approached Milan looking for a transfer, as Inter chief Massimo Moratti declared that he did not appreciate the comments, allegedly referred to Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

"He is not the man I was talking about. He has played an excellent season and is glad at Inter. I only meant to say that there are many footballers interested in joining us and amongst them there is one that no one would ever imagine," concluded Ancelotti.

'SuperPippo' Gets Azzurri Recall 'Pippo' Inzaghi has been rewarded for his clinical finishing, with Roberto Donadoni making space for him in the Azzurri squad.

'SuperPippo' Gets Azzurri Recall

The Milan poacher has been named in the squad for Italy's Euro qualifiers against Faroe Islands and Lithuania.

With Luca Toni out with a foot injury, Inzaghi cuold well start up front, though Lucarelli, Quagliarella, Rocchi, Di Natale and Del Piero have all been called up.

Italy are currently fourth in Group B, but only two points behind joint leaders France, Ukraine and Scotland.

Donadoni Wants Nesta Back For Azzurri Italy coach Roberto Donadoni has made no secret of his desire to see Alessandro Nesta return to the international fold.

Donadoni Wants Nesta Back For Azzurri

The Milan midfielder has been away from action since the World Cup, and has recentely hinted at a full retirement to focus on his club career. cry.gif

However, Donandoni has urged the former Lazio man to consider a return.

"I hope that Nesta's decision is a temporary one," said Donadoni. "I try to be optimistic although it appears to be a definite decision.

"I don't interpret it as a refusal towards the national team.

"Whoever joins us must be fit, convinced and motivated. I believe that it would be pointless for the Federation to intervene on this matter.

"I have spoken to both Nesta and Totti and I have accepted their reasons. I look to the present and future, thinking about the players that are here and happy to be here.

"When I was a player, for me the Azzurri colours were the biggest ambition of all, and it really burned me when I wasn't included."

Marco Materazzi has done very well partnering Cannavaro, including at the World Cup, but Nesta is still a defender any coach would like to have in his side. As for Totti, it is expected that he will return to the Azzurri fold next season, when the pin in his foot is removed.
