But it will reduce the lifespan of the motor. Normally motor ko faster than radiator.

Morning guys, gonna necro this post...

My car used to have this fan sounds after driving. (Stopped the car).. but I found the "fan moving sounds" is gone.. I open the engine hood and heard "click click/tick tick" sounds..

I'm worry that the fan has spoiled, how can I check that or inspect by myself?

Start the car and let it get to operating temperature and watch the fan

Anyways if fan broken your car would have overheated long ago

Morning pal, thanks for advise. I think maybe something else wrong as the temperature indicator is alright.

Nothing is spoiled , the fan is controlled by temperature switch , if the engine was driven hard or hot ambient temperature and suddenly switched off then the temperature is still high enough to run the fan

If not then no need to run the fan

Click click tick tick check the fan relay if it is not rurning when you switch on the aircon at normal engine temperature.

Hit the fan motor with a screwdriver if it runs then you will need to replace the fan motor. Be careful don't touch the fan blade.

Knowledge learnt, thanks man.
But I'm still worry about the "click click, tick tick" sounds, maybe I'm just too.sensitive.

It happened to my persona Sv. Super hot weather, and after short city drive and also uphill driving. The both fans ran for about 5 mins. I reckon it’s normal lol
