That application used to be on my main screen but after updated to 2.2 the application is no longer appearing in my screen but via pressing home button.

Sure ka? I think not many apps on Android platform actually track licensing/purchase by IMEI, some exceptions being RockPlayer and PhoneWeaver (both which I am stupidly stuck with on my SGS IMEI after I purchased them).

never restore system app. IMO, backing them up using TB is very clumsy. best is sync them up with the cloud, e.g. google contacts.

I thought RM2099 is the current retail price for our sgs. sgs II cannot be that cheap.

The PC identified new hardware cannot install it, it read:

"There was a problem installing this hardware: MTP Device.
An error occured during the installation of the device.
The filename, directory name or volume label syntax is incorrect."

d@mn...found the reason why samurai combo menu cannot come out oredi......coz using the ahem ver...

once using the paid ver....combo menu come out....

all samsung photoshop rom like darkyy, juwe, docs, etc should be able to play mp4 format. couldn't be kernel or rom problem unless the codec was removed/broken by the rom author. did you played the same mp4 file?

try searching the xda juwe thread if anyone else has the same problem.

it means the roms are "photoshoped" or cooked. unlike CM7 or MIUI

im stuck in 2.2 because i had rooted my phone and now i installed the speedmod kernel. now i want to update my froyo to 2.2.1. but must unroot and how? and anyone teach me a complete step?

there are just too many restrictions on iphone. iOS is a close OS where APIs are not open for third party integration. Imagine you wanna share a photo to facebook, you have to launch facebook app, from app to gallery, then select the photo.

compare to android, from gallery itself already can share the photo to facebook.
