Cardio is the best medicine..as for diet you can start by slowly reducing the portion u currently eating eg normally u take full rice u may reduce to half rice

Agreed, cardio works if you have the discipline. Do two hours everyday, see the weight goes down. Best i had was loosing 20kg in two month. 5pm jogging > 6:30pm , hit the weights for 30 min after that. Miss those days, now my belly is showing again.

Cardio is boring.
Perform this exercise called 'Complex'
Surely meltdown your Fats

Deadlift 6 rep
Romanian Deadlift 6 reps
Power Cleans 6 reps
Reverse Lunges 6 reps
Back Squats 6 reps
Good Morning 6 reps
Bent Over Row 6 reps
Push Ups 6 reps
Bicep Curl 6 reps

This exercise Take advantage from EPOC (Excess Post-Exercise Oxygen Consumption) effect.
The key is use heavy weight and don't let your barbell touch the floor.

Perform 3 sets.

Here another one Complex exercise

do planks, hold as long as u can. usually 30seconds-1minute but if u can do longer that's great, means ur core is strong. once everyday.

I would say no workout will flatten your tummy if you dont keep watch what you put into your mouth.

I had big tummy and I workout hard for the last two months. But allow myself to eat all junks. Though built some muscle, tummy not getting away.

Recently, I started a program called P90X, clean out my diet. Cook healthily by reducing oil or no oil or substitute with cooking spray. In two weeks, my tummy getting smaller and lost 4kg.

So, how? Workout + clean your diet.

In my opinion,
1st: you have to know what is current BF and what is your targeted BF.

2nd: how many hours/ day and how many days/week of workout you could provide/ sacrifice in order to get there?

3rd: what is your current eating habits? healthy or unhealthy?

4th: construct your workout plan and nutrition plan for 8 weeks.

simple advice: aim for long term not short term so you won't be too stress out. = )

Step 1 - Get motivated, win the fight against your mind.
Step 2 - Eating does not make u fat. It is eating the wrong food, wrong quantity and at the wrong time that make u fat!
Step 3 - Move your ass and workout! Weight training and cardio.
Step 4 - Follow step 1-3..

I did it once and I lost about 25kg in 3 months. Soon I realised I had reset my metabolism. I gained weight fast even by adding little more calories. And soon later, am back to previous weight.

I would say eat right and workout smile.gif

Eating 500 calories chicken breast and work out will make u thinner. But eating 500 calories of junk and workout will not help you any way.

but muscle wont build. And without muscle, body burn less calories. And soo metabolism slows down. we will need workout harder or eat lesser to lose weight. So we cant eat normal. Soon, we will only eat one meal to maintain weight. Wht is the point?

Don't take the weakest. Chose that heavy enough to complete the task.
If you choose the weakest, then you'll never get the EPOC effect.
Complex exercise is not easy. It's need focus, discipline and hard work.

thx arekey

i jus tried it today before i got ur response

i limit to my weakest lift, arm curl

it's fun, in a way...can feel myself breathin hard after 1 set.
on my 3rd set, i kinda forgot what exercise to do, i guess exhaustion plays a part.
in the end, i didn't squat for the last set...totally forgot
nvr done power clean b4, so it's a good try.not sure abt form.

Added on June 17, 2011, 2:10 pmfail to complete 3rd set again...
after Good Morning, forearm and grip was screamin

but it's good.
i like this

really breathing hard
