Last nite played, but did not get to play in new maps.

Anybody know how to buy escalation map pack from psn store?

I tried the store option inside black ops but it says that there isnt any DLC for purchase eventhough it states at the side with the message "new".

I then tried going to the psn store and to the game add-ons to try and purchase the escalation DLC but i cant seem to find black ops listed over there, i see uncharted 2, killzone 2, God of war 3 etc but no black ops.

What gives?

Btw my region is asia, singapore.

You need to have PSN US account to buy. Alternatively, you can buy from from these ppl at cheaper price (shared account).

if region 3 you might need to wait a while, since they release for r1 (USA) first. how long you need to wait i'm not sure.

eh, really? even first strike map not available in my store.

btw, where have you been? BF2 now eh?

the dlc sellers here open US acc to buy the maps. that's why majority of us here go for R1. dlc for R3 is (in most cases, and def for COD) always released after R1.

So DLC is realeased according to the region of the game rather then the location which one sets up their PSN account?

Half true, even if you had a US psn, your disc is R3 so won't work (as far as I know).

Some games allow for cross region dlc, but COD is not 1 of them.

Well that sucks, guess i just have to play against japs and aussies. So far havent seen much if any malaysians playing. Singaporeans on the other hand are a joy to play with since their easy pickings.
