How do you add someone as your fren?

I mean if a fren gives me his PSN account name, rather then adding them while your playing a match in the game itself.

Also is there a way to send messages or is it only voice chat?

Btw, my PSN name is genopool.

I also notice that there are alot of korean and japanese players.

Im in singapore and i usually get 3 bars and so far so good. Quite addicted to the game since i play it once i come back from work for an hour or 2.

Too bad i stuck playing DM, TDM and freeforall.

Havent tried the other modes yet.

I use 3 and i still find it hard to aim since it moves too fast.

Anybody know how to buy escalation map pack from psn store?

I tried the store option inside black ops but it says that there isnt any DLC for purchase eventhough it states at the side with the message "new".

I then tried going to the psn store and to the game add-ons to try and purchase the escalation DLC but i cant seem to find black ops listed over there, i see uncharted 2, killzone 2, God of war 3 etc but no black ops.

What gives?

So DLC is realeased according to the region of the game rather then the location which one sets up their PSN account?

Well that sucks, guess i just have to play against japs and aussies. So far havent seen much if any malaysians playing. Singaporeans on the other hand are a joy to play with since their easy pickings.

Donno why i try to add some fellas on psn till now also no reply for black ops.

So when japans psn comes back, i can purchase the dlcs for my asian psn account?

Just now had a chat with sony playstation 3 customer support. Looks like i need a region 1 copy of black ops and an american ps account to play the black ops dlc. I think i'll just save my money for either MW3 or battlefield 3.

Yup.

Thats what i did for my ps3 as well. Set tp dmz and you get open NAT for black ops, no problem at all.

Anybody else still using famas after the nerf?

Havent used it for quite sometime since i'm currently loving the galil and m60 and i prefer both guns without the RDS since i find that the stock standard sights on those 2 guns are fantastic and more accurate for me.

I am also surprised that the customer support for ps3 are aussies.

Anybody know if its possible to get the escalation map pack on a singapore ps3 account with region 2 black ops?

I just created a uk psn account and now have the option to purchase the escalation map pack for 11 quid. But i would rather get it for my asian account.

Is it possible?

Btw, what is boosting ive heard about in black ops?

How does black ops recognize that your boosting? Is it due to the abnormal scores?

I not enough fren since nearly everybody i add is always pending.

So the japs are using R1 copies? do the r3 copies have the dlc yet?

Dammit i bought the r2 region.

Is it possible to port my ps3 account name to a different region? say instead of creating a new user id, i just delete my asian account and then create a US account and use my recently deleted asian account ID name?

I dont think i can. Coz i talked to the ps3 rep and he told me dlc is according region and your psn account.

So tranferring is according to an agreement between treyarch and psn which states certain regions dont get the dlc so soon since it needs to go through a countries game rating system. Asia is problematic since we still consider ourselves holier then thou BS.
