Currently using continental comfort contact ct-1 .
Size 185/65 r15 on my Honda city .
Plan to change soon . Need one that less noise. Current tyre pass yellow road very noisy. So my consideration will be noise>grip . Any recommend tyre suit my need ?
consider the yokohama c drive 2

Hi bro, is anyone use Archillis atr sport before?
My tyre size is 215/45/17.
My main concern is about the wet n dry grip, comfort level n quietness.
Is this tyre below rm300?as I in sales line n traveling most of the time,no need so expensive one
Your comment is much appreciated.
only michelin ps3 for you, and i dont think rm300 is enough per tire

good choice. Made in Japan 100%. I used it before. better than reoo1 in wet. Dry grip is also excellent. But the comfort from the noise is unbearable. Only after using s drive will u know the true meaning of noisy tyres. I don't think there's any tires out there as noisy as this s drive.
if you count semi slicks, achilles 123 rofl

hi all..
my tires are already 2.5 yrs old, surveying for new set of wheels. spec now 195/65/15 kia forte. looking at :
same size 195/65/15 - XM2
or upgrade to 205/55/16 - N8000
requirements : long lasting/quiet/comfort > FC > dry/wet grip..speed < 140kmh only..
i see many recommends C Drive 2 for average performance but soft compound will not last..
how about conti / goodyear..any advice from sifus..
if you're ok on the price, might as well stick to xm2.
dont think conti/good year would offer anything for your criteria, and yokohama's c drive 2 wears off fast due to really soft compound. if you have the money however, you can consider upgrading rims + yokohama's Advan DB

hi guys, about time to change my falken ze912 on myvi R14. I like these tires alot compared to the stock NCT5, it gives much better cornering but it does not last long. only able to clock 35k with them.
im doing sales so 1 month have to travel about 1800 - 2300km so i need long lasting/durable tires but do not willing to lose much on performance. dont need fuel saving tires like XM2, unless they are durable. but i find it a bit bouncy on my sister's city.
Hankook V12 or Yokohama Cdrive2 ? or others ? Pls suggest. =)
if you need a tire that last long, c drive 2 is a definite no.
hankook's v12 may be ok, however do note that it is also a fairly soft compound tire.
harder compound tires you may want to look at bridgestone/michelin, or maybe look out on goodyear eagle f1 lineup

I just changed to Yokohama C Drive 2 ( 205/55/R16) my comments are..
3) Dry grip --- sucks big time, it's the most unstable tire I've ever used, even cheaper stuff can perform better IMHO. Since using it, I'm afraid of most corners, passing heavy vehicles on the highway, uneven road (coz car bounce everywhere)
may i know how much air you filled your tires with?

Guys, any recommendation for 215/45/17?
i am looking for quiet tires.
someone recommended Yokohama db for 465/pcs
the stock tire is Conti MCS 5 is Great but i think is quite noisy.
would changing to a higher series be more quiet? like 50 or 55 series?
Thanks
if you can afford yokohama advan db, by all means try it out.
higher profile tires may or may not improve noise, it will however definitely improve comfort as you get thicker rubber to go through uneven road/potholes/lines etc

dear sifus, i need some advise, my tyre went flat yesterday and i found some crack in tread nearest to the sidewall (50 cent size), the pomen said just tampal, i'm not really sure what he meant because he also said he couldn't do anything about the crack...i think maybe tampal the bocor and the crack still be there...rite?...the thing is i have a long trip tomorrow, should i be worried about the crack and better change for the new one today?the age of my tyres is 3 years and 5 months...already in warga emas age for tyre rite?it's ventus hr 2...
if you're not a spirited driver/drive fast, most tire mending/patching jobs will last you throughout the tires lifetime
however for the peace of mind, and if you do have the money/budget, it is always recommended to get new tires

Good day Sifus,
Im looking for 225/4/R18 inch tyres which comes with excellent comfort+silent features. So far the recommendation I gotten from the tyre shop are Michelin PS3 and Dunlop Veuro VE302. Continental is out of my budget though pricing nearly RM1k per piece.
Would need some guidance from you guys. Many thanks!
i never knew continental would be more expensive than michelin ps3? check out the pricing for yokohama advan db if you can find it at the shops you frequent to
