From what I learn,

Keynote - good to use since it requires simple words and charts

Pages - typing some words on simple format is so easy

Numbers - editing is easy but if you plan to make a whole spreadsheet then you might want to consider

As for dropbox support inside numbers or pages, you can use Dropdav:

http://dropdav.com/

Basically it connect your dropbox account as webdav connection, so it can be accessed by pages or number in and out. Im using it now, and very convenient!

As big as your connection allow.

Update: Just realised that dropdav just introduced minimal monthly fee at 5usd (previously it was free) and 14 days free trial. But if you are heavy dropbox user, I still think it is worth it.

Yup it is very expensive. Just wait for dropbox to add sync function to iWork better.
