1. Brand. - HP,Toshiba,Lenovo, Asus
2. Budget. - 2500
3. Specs. - Good battery life, enough to work on assignments & maybe some Dota.
4. Size. - Not too heavy (Not sure of screen sizes, as long as it isnt too small that may harm my eyes)

roughly how long? as this is use mainly for work so mobility and battery power is quite important.

Since you have the budget, just extend the warranty to 3 years. For Alienware units, you can extend again even after 3 years.

Hey guys.. Kinda worried here in making decision.. I need recommendation.. I juz got a call, N53SN still hav stock from kuching.. Should I get it or not? RM3299.. I mean should i get this? Or Wait for N53SV or N55SF? icon_question.gif icon_question.gif icon_question.gif

You're from Kuching? O___o
N55SF would take a long time before its reaches M'sia, and it'll be expensive, might want to omit it unless if you're not in a hurry to buy nod.gif

Not from kuching,But Miri.. Btw, I am using it during my Uni intake on Sept I guess.. So so hard to make decisions and i need ideas from dear bros in here... shakehead.gif shakehead.gif Any idea?

Personally I don't think bringing a 15 incher to Uni is a good idea haha~

Well, as mentioned before, weight is never really the problem for us guys nod.gif
Its rather the size that matters, being big and bulky, its not really easy to bring along the laptop without knocking it. This is based on my own experiences, I used to own a 2.7kg 15.6" Qosmio F60 as well, but just couldn't handle it since I move about alot in Uni... Its totally different with the m14x, it may be 3kg+, but its way smaller wub.gif

For Mechanical Engineering, a quad core i7 and FullHD will help in your future work, so its either XPS 15, or the new N53Sv (though I would advice you to check and see whether its really FullHD or not) icon_rolleyes.gif
