I placed the phone in my jeans, fyi, i dont wear those skinny jeans becoz my balz will suffocate lol... so i wear "normal" jeans...

it did fit perfectly, although you do get the sense of "you will snap it if u sit down" so theres a tendency for me to hold or feel the phone while slowly sitting down...

So far, screen visibility is great in the morning as the sun isnt at its maximum brightness... my screen brightness is set to auto...

lulz, buntutwoman got this phone on february, how can we even beat her lol...

Is she a female? damn.. cry.gif

QUOTE(oldKyoo @ May 9 2011, 11:59 AM)
disappointing, heavy usage, my battery is 38% now.... i unplugged at 6am at full battery.

A factor that might contribute to this might be that I charged my phone this time with a usb cable from my laptop.
*
Check what your battery usage is draining up your battery. Your Android OS must not exceed 10% ..
Charge from com USB is a no no for battery.
Mine average 11hr of heavy usage. Listen music + FB + Twitter + XDA + LYN for 3hours continuously, after that stop music but will check fb, twitter, xda , lyn every half an hour.

Those who have battery drainage problem check this out. It is known on SGS I.

Use Watchdog task manager to see what is going on in your phone. smile.gif

Is it possible to get rid of the limit of 2GB for the applications installation and their data storage.
*
Not sure why you want to remove those. No Google service? No system update? Leave it alone and get a 32GB memory card. 16GB is big enough (well, for me).

QUOTE(Bugeca @ May 10 2011, 11:15 PM)
Chill....

Just wanted to check. The other 10 users, can you confirm this issue / by default / or whatever you all gonna name it

Start a browser, browse to any website which has grey background, dark grey preferably. Look at the bottom left corner of the screen. Can you all see a white dot there. I remembered someone mentioned it in XDA, just checking.

Even if you rotate your phone, the dot will shift to another corner (still bottom left) and only in browser. Other dark grey apps or other does not have this dot.
*
I thought they said is something to do with that website?

Not a particular website, as long as that area displaying any color other than white...
*
Hmm.. I don really go webpage with black background. LOL. any site to recommend? I'll try and see.

QUOTE(stormaker @ May 11 2011, 12:00 AM)
No particular reason, just feel better if its "limitless", bcos I might not changing phone anytime soon if i get SGSII.  Right now im already using 16GB class 10 card n ready to transfer it to SGSII. As a newbie, i'm happy to know that 2GB limit is not a concern at all.
*
I thought you wanna remove all those 2gb apps. haha..

I think most of the Android new comer (like me) will feel shock/disappointed with the 2GB limit, until they get their hands on it n found out by themself that they can't even used up the allocated space.
If they declare it as warranty replacement, then it will not be tax.
*
cant blame those who shocked about the 2GB coz i'm also shocked too when I first got my pon. laugh.gif tongue.gif

Haha yeah I feel quite gutted too :/. Just got my phone today. Oh well I don't think I'll use NFC that much anyway when it comes out.
*
Same price as I bought. Would you mind checking what is your Android OS % is? In battery usage.

NFC is a new way to share things !! Watch Google I/O event today. NFC can used to send apps, webpage, etc to another phone or tablet. Interesting. laugh.gif

Let me guess, you're on XWKDD? 25% is high, my DHD only 4% never more than that. Folks in xda also can't figure out the cause and hope google or samsung to fix this bug. Drain my battery like hell. mad.gif

There are two firmwares available. XEKE1 and XWKE1. Which one did you flashed?
*
I flashed XEKE1. Before this XWKDJ. XEKE1 i think is meant for Russian coz on the keyboard the space bar you'll hv option to change language by sliding left n right. never noticed this on previous firmware.

The one from KIES is the XWKE1 which is UK official. Mind sharing your baseband version? If it is same, then no need to flash again coz only language and locale difference.
