i'm playing samurai II: vengeance thd now on my sgs2.. it's damn smooth and i dont feel any difference with atrix / optimus2x~

with SGS2's superb graphic and excellent multitouch display, tell me.. who needs tegra2? 

to anyone interested to know how to play tegra2 game..

* pre requisite:
- root + superuser access

steps:

0) download the 3 plugins from google (search "chainfire") > put all these 3 files at root of internal memory
1) buy and download chainfire3d pro (have to use market enabler to see it in android market)
2) choose cf3d driver to install the drivers
3) install plugin (the 3 plugins that we put in internal sd card just now)
4) go to default openGL settings > Use plugins > Nvidia
5) go to Per-app OpenGL settings > Tegra Zone > Use plugin > Nvidia
6) fix market settings
7) go to market, and download your desire tegra2 games!
8) enjoy!

* this is still under development, but at least the future looks promising for non tegra device!

in this link, the reviewer states that he only gets 6 hours battery life on normal usage. This is bad.... real BAD

yeah..im agree with you..the battery life is not enuf..i didnt even browsing..but using whatsapp only and enable 3G (4 hours)..GPS for like 10 mins..
youtube like 15 mins - 20 mins..a bit messaging (10 msg)..call 10 mins..wifi 10 mins..

half day battery out...

weird..mine drain fast... why meh?

problem fixed had to do manual setup and change a few things around, not sure why mine is so hard to add but managed to find a solution after googling alot, seems it is a dominant problem in the samsung galaxy s series!

also am i correct that to flash KE7 using odin, i DO NOT have to root my phone? mine is still unrooted and on KE1.

just want to confirm, i only need to download the Generic XEU right?

no need to download the stock kernel unless i root the phone later on, is that correct?

dummy here..  Do we require root to flash the firmware via odin? (it wrote no need there..just to confirm)
after flashing the XWKE7 firmware without root, can we use ChainFire's insecure KDD kernel to root the phone? (coz in his thread, he stated that his method is only for KDD, but our version is now KE7)

I only uses swype, it's way faster compared to typing 1 by 1.
