I don't care about the score, does it improve gaming performance?

Tweak bios mainly just permanent OC the processor & GPU only, OC 1.05V can be done by AMD Clock Tool depend on your clock setting, what kinda non-ingame tweaks can you do to get such difference?

Also what clock did you OC, just wanna know 5730 limit coz my OC 850/1130 max temp i saw is 72degC normal is 62degC.

i dun have 5730.. u should ask other who got this card! 72 is ok lah.. u tried OC ur volt.. i goin back! u can ask cow later... he sleeping!

I was using 790/1180 + CPU OC to get that score. Wonder why the 3dmark11 link no longer post the core/memory mhz in the link. It may improve gaming performance but I actually see artifacts even in 3dmark11. So, I don't think it is suitable for gaming. The temperature is controllable because I have a cooler. According to MSI Afterburner, it never reach 80C (since only running 3dmark11). One more thing that might help on the scoring is to make sure use set USEPLATFORMCLOCK.

So, although that is my latest top score, I was not using it for gaming. My stable OC speed is at 774/1113+CPU OC give me at P1501. No artifacts!

The 3D Mark 11 programme is 500MB right? so large...can't download to check my score

my internet speed is the lowest 60kbps

What do you mean you get artifacts? I though artifacts only happen when the card gets too hot?

Like i said i don't care about the score but am interested in the practicability. Now even on 850/1150 i still find it difficult to run Crysis 1 on LV4 High.

Have you try OC the CPU? You can see my CPU speed in my 3dmark11 link. About the artifact, when 3dmark11 is running at that speed, I see strange dark triangle here and there. Artifacts can certainly happen even when GPU is not hot. So, again, in term of practicality, it's not useful

So, let's talk about gaming practicality. With my stable clock 774/1113 + CPU OC I was able to get

60 FPS -> 82 FPS!

22/60*100%= 36.7%!

what software you used to test RE5?

RE5 own benchmark & that fella u fixed benchmark play cheat..

cow.. i can't get 60 fps no matter how i set it at config.ini it still auto change to HIGH & please try Stereo=ON , HDR=HIGH

what is ur setting to get 60fps? i still get around 30-40 no matter low/medium/high...

60fps impossible to get leh.. u get 60fps using fixed benchmark is it?? u tried HDR=HIGH play on dx10 c got artifacts??? if play dx9 it will loading longer.. if dx10 straight show capcom more faster!

SC2 on Ultra playable.

RE5 PC ver got the DLC like Nightmare & Escape? I like to play Nightmare but PS3 not many players play that map, like the atmosphere very much. Also RE5 online server is hosted by Capcom or by others?

I didnt edit config.ini, just set Shadow to low in-game. That's all! No OC.

60 FPS is for fixed benchmark


63.1 is for variable benchmark (which is longer)

i din play on9 de.. only dota!
