If humbuckers cancel the sound, and single coil still captures it, then what are the pros and cons of the two pickups? Wouldnt everyone go for a humbucker then? Haha, someone help me!

eh peeps,do you guys recommend any cable brands...please no planet waves,they failed me already although it said secure for life...-.-,i didnt...and than i got another cable it some how spoiled when i was playing it was jacked into the sound system...suddenly not functioning...im thinking of 20 ft,vox...what do you guys think,i dont know about ernie,heard it was reliable too...

I actually like Planet Waves cables though. Well, in your case, maybe get an Ernie Ball, which costs around rm60-rm80. A simple jack cable.

do you know wat's the best pickup alternative for 'wide range' humbucker use in Fender Telecaster Custom ??

anyone got any suggestions on what pickups to mod my guitar with?
im using a LTD MH-50, and im hoping to get a bluesy/hard rock tone on the guitar.
i know people tend to recommend EMGs for LTDs but if i do mod them with EMGs will that kill off my option to play blues? i was thinking to mod them with some seymour duncans but i don't know if they'll sound well on my LTD..

EMGs still capable to play blues la....
However, Active EMG pickups and Passive SD pickups have differences of tone and dynamic response.
u have to try it urself with other guitars in order to get the idea.

I have 2 superstrat guitars equiped with SD JB in bridge position, and they sounded different also, due to the type of wood combination and pickups height.

Pickup Height closer to string = higher output, vice versa.

so do they sound different in a good way? ive tried some jackson guitars with SD pickups and i feel they don't sound very good. ive tried some passive EMGs, but not the actives yet..

SD JB bridge, SD 59 neck. or Gibson PAF if you can afford it
