my 5800 call halfway got stuck..need plu out battery...

any idea how to solve this??

your phone is dying...time 2 buy new phone

got a few droids,ericssons and wave...

just that i gave this to my dad... to intro him to touchscreen phones before using more advanced ones

How to ascertain the fault:


1) Clean the battery terminals (use cotton buds) of the phone and plug in the charger and see if it is still stuck when calling. If not stuck, that means your battery is not supplying enough current under load. Change Battery.

2) If still stuck when charger is used, do a full reset and try calling without any external software installed (refer to my previous post here on how to do a full reset).

3) If still stuck after full reset, upgrade your firmware by using Nokia Suite by hooking up to your PC.

i just think the solution is to make is custom firmware..n hope it have already with adobe reader...

If you have a memory card installed, then can transfer the messages there:

Under Messaging: Options > Settings > Other > Find 'Memory in Use', Change it to E:Memory Card.

PDF Reader:

Check under 'Other', how many saved messages are alloted. Memory card is much bigger, you can even increase 10 times the amount stored. Increase as you wish, later on after transfering.

hi any safe guide for me to flash my 5800 v60.0.003 to custom firmware?i dunno how do...i read see like got alot way...i scare wrong...so need any sifus here can help...a safest way... thx

although this is a very late respond, i bought AP N95 8GB before and i think it's for indonesia. went to flash the firmware at NCC for small fee, just like asking them to reinstall firmware on ori set. easy job.

How much does a used 5800 that is in good condition can fetch?

It seems that the shops only give around RM200+ when you trade-in the phone...

selling it directly will fetch better price...
without having to trade-in can get better pricing for the new phone...

Dunno ... now android in trend... rm400 can get new one already

Now most shops stock up on Android phones....
