looking for a decent edifier 2.1 speaker for my computer.

my budget is 200~250RM.

tried M3200 in PCDEPOT (RM199), not bad, but my ear told me that the ALTEC LANSING VS4621 (RM249) has clearer bass then M3200. I know this is not a fair fight with that price gap, but I wanna know if I can get anything decent then VS4621 with 250 or not.

Clearer bass, or more booming bass? With that budget, you may want to also look at others like Edifier M3400, Edifier M3300SF or Edifier M3300... hmm.gif

Not really true. Subwoofers are omni-directional (in other words, not direction specific) and usually sub-bass frequencies radiates everywhere (ambient effect). Thus usually subwoofer positioning has little or no effect at all. Putting it next to a wall can have even more effect with bass reflections. wink.gif

Yes, with a little patient it can unleash your speaker potential.

Get some pink noise or high quality noisy music and play it loud, get complain from family members and neighbors for about a week. After that play some slow music and notice the improvements.

If it was too loud, use blanket to cover the speaker but don't cover up the amplifier heat sink. smile.gif

Any Edifier E1100MKII Predator user? How does it sound compare with Edifier M3300SF? The price is like rm30 - 40 different.

In term of sound, M3300SF will sound better than E1100MKII.

Hi Edifier, just want to ask, is M3300SF stop producing? Because I placed an order (with deposit) to a shop, but they told me that this model doesnt product anymore. Is this true? Quick and confirm reply (from anyone) is appreciated. I want to take back my deposit if this is true. Thanks.

Eh, is there any bass or treble control for R501?

EDIT: Tempted to get Edifier DA5000 Pro...anyone know where can get it cheap in Penang Island?

EDIT 2:Edifier DA5000 PRO and Edifier C6XD...seems like I can get C6XD for a cheaper price...but is it good? I like C6XD's volume knob biggrin.gif but I like DA5000 Pro overall look hmm.gif In terms of bass, treble and sound quality which is better?

Spec wise does say DA5000 Pro is better hmm.gif

Edifier already stop produce DA5000 pro. The replacement model will be DA5100 and it will available in 2 weeks time.
In term of SQ, personally i prefer DA5100 more than C6XD.
